I Dare Ya!

Mooch turned back to the girls and then back to Tripod. He growled. Pushing his face in Tripod's he gave a tough snort. His fur bristled and he growled again.

"I'm telling the truth!" He whimpered. "Trust me! Ask Scamp! He was there! We rescued Tani and brought her back from the elephant graveyard! I'm telling the truth!" He pushed Tripod's shoulder with his large paw. "You callin' me a liar?"

"Well, you have been known to exaggerate before." came the calm response. It wasn't that he didn't believe the sheepdog, a part of him wanted to do so, he just wasn't entirely sure. He had nothing against Mooch. Tripod just wasn't as quick to believe boastful stories as some of the others. "If you're as tough as you say, why don't you prove it?" Tripod asked. Wait, where did that come from? Perhaps Dipstick was starting to rub off on him. Well, it was too late now.

Cadpig could be found in the usual sea of spots. Cadpig yawns. For she didn't believe Mooch's story either. "Oh, let's all bow down to the great all mighty Mooch" Cadpig said sarcastically with a sarcastic roll of her eyes. Now, more of the time Cadpig wasn't one to even bring this stuff up but she couldn't stand to see Mooch treat Pepper like that.

Cadpig walks over to Dolly and smiles at her. "Hi, my name's Cadpig what's your name" Cadpig asked hoping Dolly would hear her.

Cadpig gasped as she hears Tripod. WOW!!!! Tripod never said that not even around Lucky. Tripod was quite competitive but he never dared him like that. Cadpig smiles and nods her head. "Yeah, Mooch why don't you prove it? Unless you wanna tell us that the only lion in your story is Vitani" Cadpig said with a sly smirk.

Scamp approached the group of pups, a silly grin over his scarred face. His mind wasn't focused on what was going on at all - indeed, he was thinking of 'Tani. She seemed to be all he could think of these days.
He was jerked back to the present when he nearly walked straight into Mooch. He half jumped back, and wound up sitting on his rear.
"Hey, Mooch." he greeted, absently scratching at his muzzle - and probably pulling a few stitches as he did - and looking up at the sheepdog. "What's going on?"

Dolly was admittedly bored- her visibly dull facials proved that. All she wanted to do was flirt a bit, grab a little attention, but of course there were complications to be involved. Dolly knew Mooch's story was probably not all true- she didn't need Tripod to confirm that. She did get a chance to respond to Cadpig- as a bit of amusement trotted right up to the group- almost right into Mooch actually. Violet eyes lit up- as the femme made the connection almost instantly.

"We-ell." she dragged out the word breathily, pushing her rear up from the ground as dainty paws sauntered her towards the new light grey pup, "Don't you look familiar!" she commented. Lass did a small circle around the pup- openly inspecting him flirtatious eyes. She didn't hide her interest- perhaps it'd provoke a little more attention from Mooch.

Mooch's ears perked. He was happy to see Scamp. That would show the other pups what had happened with Tani was true. But then he saw what was going on. What had happened when Dolly saw Scamp. No. Not again. Mooch's eyes narrowed. He looked back at Scamp and gave him a small snort. He knew Scamp liked Tani but the gray pup wasn't going to steal any more girls from him, no sir.

"Awww, hey Scamp, buddy," he said, "These clowns think that we didn't almost fight a lion when we rescued Tani." He growled. "We did almost fight a big lion, didn't we Scamp?" Mooch gave him a look, tilting his head to the direction of Dolly and gave Scamp a pleading look.

"Huh?" Scamp spun - to find himself staring at a girl. A very pretty girl. Not to mention a familiar one. All thoughts of 'Tani fled his mind for a long moment.
"Uh, h-hey, Dolly." he stammered. "Heh, haven't seen you in a while." he scratched at his muzzle again, feeling awkward. After all, it wasn't every day your former crush showed up to a war. That had been before 'Tani, before Angel... but something still lingered, deep in his subconciousness.
"Ah, when did you get here?"

"Huh, what?" Mooch's words jerked him out of his dazed stupor. "Whu-you did? When was that?"

"Oh, you remember Scamp you were with Mooch and Vitani at the time. The time when Mooch beat up a lion this big". Cadpig said moving her paws a distance for emphasis on how this this "Supposed" lion was.

Cadpig smiled she knew Scamp would back pedal and agree and seeing that would be funny to her. Cadpig looks back at Mooch with a cocky smirk and one curiously raised eyebrow. "Wow, Scamp doesn't even remember it it must have been way bigger then what you were saying". Cadpig said with a sarcastic roll of her eyes.

Mooch stared at Scamp, jaw wide open in disbelief.

Really. REALLY?!

Mooch gave Scamp a look of pure poison. So he was trying to steal this girl away from him. Great. And Scamp always won. Angel, Tani...EVERYONE. Mooch tried not to be resentful but he could barely help it. "You remember, Buddy." He said the last words through gritted teeth, giving Scamp a glare. "When we went to the elephant graveyard. To rescue Tani? You remember Tani right, doofus?"

Scamp puzzled that for a moment.
"I wasn't with you then, Mooch." he replied, sounding confused. "It was you, Angel and mom went to rescue 'Tani." He scratched at his muzzle, pulling more stitches - Tiana would have something to say to him about that later - and shrugged. "I wouldn't know what you fought there."

Mooch put his paw on Scamp's back leg. He glared but it was a look of concern and caring.
"Dude, stop it," he said plainly. He peered at Dolly giving her a grin before returning to Scamp. "Alright so you weren't there but Tani told you what happened! I told you what happened! Tell them what happened!" He looked at Scamp with a pleading look. A look that said 'this girl is really hot. Help me now.'

Scamp stared blankly at Mooch for a moment, reading his look more than hearing his words. "Uh... you two make a cute couple?" he offered.

(OOC: Sorry for the one-liner, but there wasn't much else I could add to that I won't do it again.)

Cadpig fell over in hysterical laughter. "WOW, that lion was sure big huh Mooch? Wow, I think from now on everyone should call you "Lion Killer" " Cadpig said laughing even harder and then wiping her eyes from laughing so hard. "So really Mooch tell us more about this *Cough* Imaginary *Cough* lion. How big was that lion again"? Cadpig said with a sly smile. There was no way Mooch could talk his way out of this.

Mooch growled low. He couldn't believe Scamp. Right now when he needed his buddy the most...well it was something he should be used to by now. He rolled his eyes at Scamp's comment. But when Cadpig spoke he couldn't take it anymore. He growled loudly at the little pup before speaking to her.

"It was a big lion! Scamp just wasn't there! He doesn't know!" He stuck his nose in the air and scoffed. "I don't care what you say I saw the lion. None of you have even been in the outlands. I have. I've actually done something for this war while you guys were just here training."

"Hey, lay off him!" Scamp snapped defensively at Cadpig. He might not have a clue what Mooch was talking about, but as far as he was concerned, that was no reason for Cadpig to keep on at his pal.

"Uh, yeah!" he agreed belatedly with Mooch. He baguely remembered him and Tani mentioning a lion... "Yeah, they fought 'Tani's older brother... or something..." he trailed off. Honestly, he hadn't been paying much attention to Mooch and Tani's tales, having been so caught up in his newly-realised feelings for 'Tani.

He felt a flash of guilt at that. How had seeing Dolly managed to divert his mind from Tani? Sure, she'd used to be his crush, but... He couldn't do that to Vitani. He made up his mind right there to help Mooch win Dolly any way he could.
