We've Gotta Get Her Back!

(OOC: Continuation of The Past Catches Up, on the 30th January
Open to all, but I'd definately like Collette, Mooch and Scamp's parents to put in an appearance, as well as one of the army's leaders.)

Blood dripped from his muzzle, running into his mouth and dripping onto the ground, as Dodger hurried him into the MASH tent. Through it all, Scamp could only think of one thing - 'Tani was gone. Her family was going to kill her. And he'd failed... failed to protect her. "We've gotta get her back..." he mumbled, his face contorting in pain as his speech pulled on his wounds.

Mooch's eyes widened as he lifted his head from his paws. He had been hiding from training and was expecting the Great Prince, Tripod or even Pug to catch him but when he heard Scamp's voice, his ears perked. Maybe the pup wanted to play! Or go exploring! They'd find 'Tani, their best gal pal and go off and explore the pridelands. But as Mooch looked around the corner, his ears drooped, eyes getting bigger as they took in the site of his bloodied bast buddy.

"Scamp?" His voice was a whimper, a mere whisper as he padded behind Dodger and Scamp, "Scamp, Buddy...what happened to ya, huh?"

Collette walked slowly through the tent forest. She was lost.....again! She heaved a sigh and muttered to herself,

"You'd think I'd know my way around by now."

The a space opened up in front of her

"Finally!"

And there was her brother, bleeding all over the ground

She let out a shrill shriek, "Scamp! What happened? Are you alright? Where are you hurt? Why hasn't anyone helped you yet?" She turned wide, frightened eyes to Mooch, "What happened to him!?"

Mooch scrunched his nose up. Oh, so NOW Miss Priss was talking to him, huh? But there was no time for that now, Scamp was injured and hurt. Mooch whimpered slightly, his voice gruff and full of him own concern for the gray pup that was being led into the MASH tent covered in blood. Mooch almost couldn't stomach the sight of it.

"I dunno, Fluffy," he said, giving he a nickname, that was going to calm him down, hopefully, he wasn't quite cruel enough that he would tease her to make himself feel better but a nickname, that he could use to ease his nerves without offending too much, "But I aim to get the sorry jerk who hurt him!" He slammed a big paw in the dirt anger masking his fear.

Scamp coughed around the blood filling his mouth. "Mooch..." he managed weakly, numb. "Th... they took 'Tani..." The pain flared once again, and he fell silent, whimpering softly, letting Dodger carry him towards the MASH tent. "They're going to kill her." he added. He hardly heard Collette's questions, he was so focused on making sure Mooch realised that 'Tani was in danger.

"We'll explain more once Tiana or someone else in the MASH can get Scamp taken care of. Just follow us for the moment." Dodger told Collette and Mooch. It wasn't too far off, fortunately. With a little nod to both the other dogs, Dodger quickened his pace. It wasn't like him to worry, but with Scamp's injuries and the thought of one of the heroes being taken to the Outlands to have who knows what done to them he couldn't help it. At last the little dog made his way into the MASH tent. Setting Scamp down as gently as he could on a bed, Dodger let out a bark to try and get Tiana, Vixey, or Ray's attention. "Guys, we've got an injured soldier here!" he barked. Dodger realized Lady or Tramp might have heard him, so he kept Scamp's name unknown for the moment. There was no reason to worry them just yet.

Angel didn't often visit the MASH tent for any reason short of a life-or-death injury, but it just so happened that she was in there now. She'd managed to slice open her paw pad on something sharp while training with Patch, and the blood flow hadn't looked like stopping, so she'd returned to get it bandaged. She was just on the verge of leaving when Dodger entered, carrying someone with bad facial wounds...
It took her a moment longer than it should have to recognise Scamp. Forgetting all about returning to her training - even though Patch would still be out at the training ground waiting for her return - she was at Scamp's side in an instant.
Three long gashes ran across her brother's face, starting from his left cheek and making their way across his muzzle.
"Scamp..." she whispered, wishing she knew how to help him.

(OOC: Forgot to mention in the first post, we need Tiana to show up in here as well)

"TANI? WHAT? WHAT HAPPENED TO HER?!" Mooch gasped loudly. Tani was taken? Mooch was now distracted. He seemed to forget Scamp was injured as he bounced back and forth in front of him and Dodger. "WHO took her Scamp? Who's going to kill her?!" He was shouting, probably going to annoy Tiana but he had to find out what happened to Tani. He just HAD to.

Mooch gave a scowl to Angel as she went to Scamp's side. He still resented her for hurting his pal. But Tani's safety was more important.

"Mooch, calm down. We can think about how we're going to get her back after Scamp's had his injuries tended to." Dodger said. It wasn't a harsh tone, but he was a bit annoyed with the sheepdog's yelling. He couldn't exactly blame him, though. Dodger should have expected Vitani's friends to be worried about her. He glanced around, looking once again for Tiana or any of the other medics. Where were they?

Angel froze, also distracted. Something had happened to Vitani? She didn't join Mooch in bombarding Scamp with questions, but she dearly hoped that her friend was alright.

Scamp coughed more blood from his mouth, wiping feebly at his bleeding muzzle with a forepaw. "H-her brother, and some tiger." He grimaced again at the pain that shot through his muzzle as he spoke, but persisted. "They took her back to the Outlands." At least, he assumed. He didn't know for sure, as he'd been unconcious. "She... she said her mom would kill her if she ever went back." He trailed off, more blood dripping into his mouth.

She wasn't a nurse, but she had to do SOMETHING. As Scamp finished talking, Angel took a cloth in her paw and began gently dabbing at Scamp's muzzle, cleaning the deep gashes, all the while worrying about what could be happening to 'Tani.
"We've got to get her out of there." she muttered to no-one in particular. "If I talk to Shang about a rescue mission..."

(OOC: Love these new mod powers. Now I can correct mistakes in any of my posts, all from Angel's account!)

(OOC: I really hope you guys don't mind me jumping in here I feel like I need to play Vixey more.)
The vixen was heading over to Lady to see about getting more supplies when something cuaght her eye. She turned to see a gray furred dog that was bleeding all over the place. "W-what happened?" Vixey asked concern filling her eyes. She didn't know Scamp that well but, a bleeding pup was still horrible.

"I don't know the full details, but what I do know is Scamp got hurt trying to protect Vitani. She apparently got taken back to the Outlands." Dodger explained as he looked to Vixey. He was glad someone had shown up to take care of Scamp's injuries. "Now, from what I've gathered of this little conversation, they want to go rescue her. As much as I want to, I think it would be foolhardy to just rush in there without a proper plan." he added coolly.

(OOC: @ Vixey - it's fine: the thread's open to all, anyway, and you can be the one to tend to Scamp as Tiana doesn't seem to be here)

"You wouldn't say that if it was..." what was her name? "...was Rita we were talking about." Scamp snapped angrily at Dodger. Angel firmly turned his head back towards her and continued to dab at his wounds. Scamp winced as the damp cloth stung, but held his glare on Dodger. "What part of 'they're going to kill her' do you not understand?"

A loud growl, almost as fierce as an adult dog echoed from Mooch's muzzle. He bounced back and forth angrily, ready for a fight. Ears pinned back, Mooch turned his muzzle to Angel, giving her another glare before returning to his angry stance.

"We've gotta go get her! I don't care what Shang says! Or what YOU say! You don't have any say in the matter!" He glared at Dodger. "She isn't YOUR best friend. Scamp, did you see what direction they went in? We have to go get Tani!" Mooch's world was falling apart around him. The order he maintained had been destroyed and the Outlanders who took Tani would PAY!

"B-back to the Outlands..." Scamp managed, rising unsteadily to his feet - before letting out a yelp as Angel forcefully gripped his ear in her teeth and dragged him back down.
"YOU're not in a condition to go anywhere." she replied, waving Vixey over to take on the role of tending to Scamp's wounds. He whimpered slightly, opening his mouth to protest, before Angel cut him off. "A single creature stands a better chance. With Shang's permission, I'll go."
"And we all know how sucessful your last infiltration to the Outlands was." Scamp muttered under his breath.
