I Dare Ya!

Vitani frowned, that had not gone to plan. She felt as if she had just made things worsen instead of better like she had hoped. She lowerred her head and watched her paws as they approached the cave, falling back into step with Scamp again.

Her sapphire eyes darted to Scamp and then to the ground once more. She had noticed that Scamp seemed totally rid of his depression...he was starting to look somewhat normal again. She was glad. She didn't want him to go back to the state he was in when they met. She couldn't be happier.

Ugh. That scruffy pup--Scamp was his name?--SO immature. Really, was he one of those boys who never thought before opening their muzzles? It certainly seemed that way. Shaking her head, Annabelle padded along behind the group, keeping her own mouth shut but her eyes wide open and observing.

Just in case.



Rebecca, meanwhile, silently followed Dipstick with her ears slightly drooped. Trouble? She was....trouble? She didn't think...but then again....all she did was cry and hide behind Penny....maybe....maybe they were annoyed with her now?

A soft sigh escaped her lips, and she looked up at Dipstick. "Am I....am I....trouble, Dipstick?"

Cadpig follows the group. She did deserve this kind of treatment from Mooch. Maybe she could try to change his mind.She walks close to Rebecca.

Penny reluctantly trailed the group. She didn't WANT to be here, she really didn't - but the fact still remained that she didn't trust Mooch not to lead them straight into an ambush, and as such, she was not going to let Rebecca out of her sight until they were safely back at camp. Maybe not even then.

Overprotective? She damn well was.

Mooch growled and stepped foreward into the darkness. They must have made a wrong turn because the sight that met them was beautiful, nothing like they'd seen before. It was almost like the crystal cave had made a playground just for them. Crystals surrounded a large clear pool complete with blind fish swiming about in the shallow water. Larger crystals hung from the ceiling and a crystal cliff was above the pool. Mooch wagged his tail and smiled.

"Come on gang!" He said rushing towards the scene, "Let's go!" The young dog rushed up to the water and looked down at the blind fish. They were so interesting to look at.

Dolly had followed without a word, making sure to keep up, but also keep her fur in order, as opposed to letting it brush in front of her eyes. Though the lass hesitantly stepped into the cave after Mooch, only to be greeted by one of the more delightful sights she'd ever encountered before. She took a moment to marvel it, stepping forward blindly, before regaining her composure and trotting up to Mooch's side, leaning over and peering at the fish as her fur brushed against Mooch.

"Oh they're strange!" she said, not rudely, but rather surprised. She was completely engrossed by the sight, eyes only pried from the fish to allow her eyes to register the crystals as they light shining and glimmering through them lit up her face, shining off her grey-violet eyes and complementing the smile that touched her maw

"Whoa!" Scamp muttered, looking around him in awe. "This isn't the same cave we found last time." He ran a paw over the smooth surface of some of the crystals, after a moment turning to Tani. "Whadya' think, Tani? Pretty impressive, isn't it?" Without waiting for an answer, he bounded up to the top of a crystal formation almost as tall as he was and grinned down at her.

Rebecca stopped in her tracks, hesitation from before vanishing as a rush of wonder swept through her small form.

It was....it was....

Beautiful. The most beautiful place she had ever seen! So...so many crystals....all a glittering translucent blue-white....

The little dal's tail began to wag, and she turned to Dipstick with those wide, wide eyes. "C'n....c'n we go inside?"



Annabelle had hung back, watching the younger pups comence exploration. She hadn't really intended on playing with them so she didn't feel any immediate need to join them; let them get settled in and THEN she'd approach, watching--like usual--with a keen eye to make sure no one wandered too far.

Even Penny had to admit that she was impressed by the cave they found themselves in. The crystals themselves seemed to glow, and even if that was a trick of the light, they were certainly beautiful. "What... what is this place?" she asked no one in particular, unable to keep a note of awe out of her voice.

Two-Tone lay on the grass, trying to think of something to entertain herself. She pricked her ears as she heard noises of what sounded like voices talking. She looked over her shoulder to see a small group huddled together, and what seemed to be arguing. She sighed, and approached the group.

"Hey guys," she said, surveying the crowd with emerald green eyes. "What's going on?"

@moonwulf: Okay, since you seem to have ignored what I told you from Ling's account I'll tell you again. Two-Tone is already taken and is an animal villain. I doubt she'd just leave the animal villains home to come hang out with heroes. Furthermore, you can't play in the in character threads until you've been approved to play a character by making an application for said character. I suggest looking at the taken characters list and picking a character that hasn't been taken to play as, because all the characters listed in your signature are already taken or not allowed as the case may be for Kopa.)

Tripod is right.
You cannot play as lucky two-tone or vitani. They are already taken and you cannot play as kopa either because he is not allowed. More than that however, you did not follow the rules: you cannot post until you've chosen a character that is allowed/has not been claimed, and have made an application for them AND have that application approved. I understand first-timer confusion, so if you feel the need to reply to this take it to the questions thread in this rpg so we don't clutter this thread with spam.

Dipstick had been staring at her dreamily. It took a moment to realize he'd been spoken to. He perked up as if jerking from sleep, smiling sheepishly. "Oh, oh yeah oh yeah!!" He ran on ahead of her into the cave, a bit recklessly. "Follow me Becca, I'll protect you!! An..and I'll get you a crystal too you'll see!!" Reckless words. How he was going to get a crystal OUT of the cave he didn't know, but he knew he DID want to get one for his Becca.

He was so busy looking back at her he forgot to look where he was going. "Come on Becca follow me!! Nothing bad will happen now that I'm WOAHHH!!!" He yelped suddenly and tumbled right into the pool, creating a surprisingly big splash.

(ack sorry guys, I totally forgot I was in this thread o.o)

Cadpig looked around the caves. This was the most amazing place she had ever seen. "Wow, this is amazing" Cadpig said in awe..

Mooch growled slightly. Dipstick falling in the water had not only scared away the fish but had splashed water all over him. He growled, placing his face near Dipstick's. "Grrr, Dipstick!" He barked, "Whatja do that for?"

Turning to Dolly, his tail wagged slowly. "Oh...uh...isn't it pretty in here Dolly?"
