Rebecca squealed, skidding to a halt mere inches away from getting drenched by the mini-wave spawned by Dipstick's careless fall. Taking a few seconds to regain herself, the little scarred pup padded over to her male friend, hoping he wasn't hurt. "Are ye....are ye alight, Dipstick?" She asked. He looked okay....but one never knew....
Annabelle, meanwhile, smirked, having overheard Penny's comment. "Why not go inside then?" She asked, almost inviting the girl to accompany her, despite their clashing personalities.
If she was here....might as well try to get along.

Dipstick resurfaced, spitting out water. At Rebecca's question he looked rather sheepish. "Ahh.. yah, yah I do stuff like this all the time, hehe....heh..." He climbed out a safe distance from her (so as not to get water all over her) and shook himself. "Woo....yeah... I needed that...yeah..nothin' like a dip in the pond to get ya cool and uh...refreshed..." In truth he was a little embarrassed but...hey it was cool, he was cool. He'd play this off if it killed him.

Penny blinked, surprised by Annabelle's words, but slowly nodded and followed the older pup into the cave. Still keeping a wary eye on Rebecca to make sure she was alright, Penny paused where she stood, staring around the cavern in wonder. She gently caressed one of the crystals with her paw, and was surprised by how smooth it felt. Little attention was paid to anyone around her, she was simply so awed by the crystals.

"Whoa!" Scamp muttered, looking around him in awe. "This isn't the same cave we found last time." He ran a paw over the smooth surface of some of the crystals, after a moment turning to Tani. "Whadya' think, Tani? Pretty impressive, isn't it?" Without waiting for an answer, he bounded up to the top of a crystal formation almost as tall as he was and grinned down at her. Vitani's sapphire eyes widened as we tried to take in the whole cavern, it was different from the cavern that they had first seen. Vitani padded into the cavern after Dolly, she could barely believe her eyes. She grinned at Scamp and quickly followed him through the crystals, laughing as she followed Scamp. "What'd'ya think 'Tani?""This is amazing!" Vitani answered, placing her paws against the crystal and grinned up at Scamp. |
