I Dare Ya!

Mooch had been distracted. He gave a look to Rebecca and waved a paw at her.

"Oh right! The little pup Luck-Errrrr." He gave a sheepish grin, trying to figure out whether he had said enough to set off the little pup. Scamp was missing, he had probably gone off about his stitches. "Yeah, yeah, she's cool. But less you forget, I make those decisions, Dipstick, not you!" Mooch was trying his best to look cool in front of Dolly. Tongue lolling out of his mouth, he stepped near the prissy pup and then gave her a big smile. "So, I'll bet you never thought you'd be standing with the Great Prince's best soldier, huh?" He lifted his head triumphantly.

"Uhh....yeah. But I think she ... um..." Mooch had moved away already, before Dipstick had time to articulate his thoughts. Yet again. So he directed his comment at Rebecca instead, looking toward her hopefully. "I-I think you're uh....I-I'd like to get to know you better you know that is uh....if...if you want to."

Rebecca's head tilted to the side. Get....to know her better....?

Admittedly, the little pup wasn't quite sure what to think about that. True, Dipstick was part of her new family, but he never REALLY seemed to interact with them, unless to argue.

Then again....she really SHOULD try to get to know all her new siblings....right?

"....s....sure I....I dun't see anythin' wrong wi' that."

It was hard to miss how Dipstick's face lit up in a grin from ear to ear. "Great!! Ah...." His mind went blank. Dang, now the girl he was crushin' on was actually wanting to spend time with him and he had no idea what to ask her to do!! What could he say what could they do.. "Um...do you want to ah, take a walk with me? We can talk and.....and maybe we can go see where your other friends are and we can uh...hang out." Hanging out was fine. With ANYONE but Penny. Penny got on his nerves, especially because she was always so sarcastic and called him stupid or hinted at him being stupid ALL THE TIME.

Mooch heard what was going on behind him and grinned. Dipstick had a crush! Was he going to help? The old Mooch would have teased him. The new Mooch wanted to impress this girl. He winked at Dolly, motioning to Dipstick and Rebecca and turned around.

"Well," he said, "Lookin' for something to do, huh Dipstick? Maybe we can go for a walk, all four of us. We can...Hey! We can go out to the crystal caves! Tani and Scamp and I went out there once and we had lots of fun! So whadya say, Dipstick? You and your girl wanna come hang out?"

"My girl? But she's not...ah...." Dipstick found himself grinning sheepishly at Rebecca, blushing hard. Yet again. "Yeah Mooch that sounds cool....what do you say Becca you up for it?" He couldn't stop grinning like an idiot. Dang it. No!! No he didn't want to be an idiot in front of HER. But he couldn't wipe that stupid grin off his face for anything.... "I-I've never been to the Crystal Cave....what's it like?" The question was directed at Mooch of course but Dipstick's eyes were still stuck on Rebecca. He wondered vaguely if she'd even come.

Poor Dipstick. Oh well. It wasn't his fault he wasn't as slick as Mooch himself was. He raised his head and gave Mooch a slap on the back. "Its a cave with crystals in it! Its pretty cool! We even fought hyenas there!"

Mooch grinned and turned to the group. He'd padded away a few feet from them. "Come on guys! Let's go!"

Dolly let a small giggle loose as Mooch boasted. He was an arrogant thing... Course she could say that, fully aware of her own somewhat snob like personality; though she'd never admit it. Lass didn't get a chance to respond however, as Mooch's next suggestion seemed to be going into action.

"Crystal caves... Hyena's?" she repeated, perhaps a bit skeptical though she didn't let it show. "What do we do if more hyena's show up?" she asked, perhaps a bit worried, tilting her head and rising to all fours, trotting to Mooch's side.

Patch's fur tensed at the mention of Hyneas. Was Mooch trying to get himself killed? and not just himself but Becca and Dipstick. "Mooch, i don't think that's a...good idea...what if Dolly's right? What if more hyneas show up?" he asked. "We could also get into big trouble by The Great Prince."

Mooch gave a growl to Patch. He was still on his hate list for hurting Scamp.

"Who said you were invited, patches?" He said with a snarl. Ignoring the rest of Patch's speech, Mooch gave a smug grin to the fluffy pup he was trying to impress. "Don't worry, honey, they didn't show up until that stupid yellow thing that looks like General Stitch showed up. And we fought them off! Easy! Don't worry. I'll protect ya!"

Patch growled. "Who said i wanted to go!" he snapped. "I am more concerned you and how your fat ego could get some of my friends killed!" he stopped. He looked down embarrassed. Where had that anger come from? He had never shouted at Mooch before. But now...it kind of felt good

"Promise?" she responded curtly, with a bat of her eyelids. Though, violet eyes were detoured, to the dalmatian causing the fuss. She supposed it wouldn't be a dangerous trip... after all, what were the odds hyena's would show up again? Lass turned around, tilting her head at Patch down and looking at him through her lashes.

"Aw calm down poochie," she spoke, charming with a tinge of pleading, "I kinda wanted to check out these crystal-caves, and I don't see why you can't come along." she gave him an enchanting smile, along with a overly flirtatious wink. Seductive pup she was, and somewhat manipulative, as she attempted to charm her way through to Patch. Surely Mooch would see her little show and play along?

Mooch smiled brightly. He was winning the fight to win this girl! He watched her work with Patch and he realized what he was working with. This girl was a FLIRT. Mooch was determined to match her flirtatiousness and win her over.

"You guys wanna go? Its right on the border! It's absolutely..." He grinned at the girl pooch and raised his eyebrows in a flirty manner. "Its beautiful."

Patch looked at Dolly. "Nah, i would hate to impose." Patch said as sweetly as possible. He didn't mean to sound as cold as he did. "Mooch obviously doesn't want me." he glared at Mooch and then took a step back from Dolly

It seemed Dolly had forgotten about Patch, or at the very least decided to ignore him. He didn't seem too interested in her- which made him of little interest himself. Besides. There were other, much more interested, and interesting, dogs right now. She laughed lightly- seemed he had a few cards to play. Dolly would play. Padding back to Mooch, she gave a small glance back to Patch, but besides this, it seemed she was ready to stop paying him any attention.

"Aren't you charming." she commented with a small laugh, "So you gonna show me 'round or not?" she asked- light flirtatious tone and a small wink. Charming; probably not one of the words someone would choose for Mooch, but if this was knowledge help by Dolly, she didn't show it.
