can someone explain to me why Cinderella is a mermaid.
What purpose does this serve? How is she going to get around? Beyond the fact that this is quite abrupt and random in itself...

Hmm, I sort of wanted Cinderella to be cursed so she either becomes animal or mermaid. Then I came up with the idea if the ring can turn mermaids into humans, shouldn't it be able to the opposite? And that's where it came from.

But okay...1st off how is she going to get around. Second why was it like...just a split second thing? Are you not going to play as Cinderella anymore? Because she won't be able to get around on land at all you know.

Look, if you want to play Cinderella as a mermaid because you think it's cool-fine. But please provide an explanation in-character. Otherwise, no one's going to take you or your characters seriously. 

What Stitch said. It's cool that you wanted to do something, but I think there should be some build up to it and more thought put into it. For starters, as Stitch pointed out, there's the issue of how Cinderella is going to get around as a mermaid. She'd be confined to watery places, wouldn't she? That would mean that you could only play her at like... The beach. That's about it, I think. Second, why was she turned into a mermaid? Was this just a random idea that you wanted to play with or was there some reason you wanted her to be a mermaid? Because it kind of feels like it came from straight out of nowhere and thus is really random.

You really need to think these sorts of things through and think about how they could work in a logical manner. Think to yourself 'Does this make sense?' before you do something. Like... Let's take what I did with Gurri for example. I had her change from a deer to a dog because she felt like a freak as a deer, had fallen in love with a dog, and had slowly started to build up a distaste for how Bambi viewed the one she loved. She wanted to cast aside her life as a deer to not only free herself of what her family might have thought but to also be with Mooch. Not only that, but it also continues the arc that has been developed over the course of the roleplay in relation to Mooch and Bambi's family. It was thought out, built up to, and holds some degree of logic behind why it happened.

Whereas... Cinderella turning into a mermaid comes straight out of nowhere and throws everyone for a loop.

All we're saying is that you need to have a logical reason for these sorts of things to happen. That's all.
