That pretty much sums it up. Jafar, Nasira, and La found out Cassim was Aladdin's father from Helga (who has connections) and they want to recruit him (though Jafar's pretty reluctant about it  ). |

And Helga brings up the fact that if they can't recruit Cassim directly or if he betrays them they could use him as bait for Aladdin. And they won't make a repeat mistake like they did with Jasmine. 24/7 security PLUSE spells.
