Not Quite There
Um... I have to confess, I'm not quite sure why Tiana's asking Jenny to bandage the wounds on her cheek? They would have been tended to back when they were first inflicted and are almost a month old by now... surely there's no need for her to keep them covered by this point?

Oh wait, they're a month old? When you said she'd have something to say about them I must have misread that. I'll edit, sorry about that.

A New Hero?
Hey, Kovu... is there any chance I could throw Kiara into this thread? Not to get involved, of course, just to lurk and spy and watch what happens... I think this is something that she would need to see with her own eyes. She won't interfere, no-one else need know she's there.

So Kiara is such a ninja that she manages to escape detection when multiple members of the pride who are more experienced and wiser than her are within earshot?

Though in all honesty, I didn't intend for her to get anything like that close. She doesn't need to hear what's being said; in fact, it would be better if she didn't, so that she can jump to her own conclusions as to what's going on. As long as she can see roughly what's happening, the greater the distance, the better, really. I'd have thought she could get away with that, at least?

I would like to question this as well, I do not think Kiara would be able to lie there without being noticed since Simba is a well honed male and his pride isn't too bad either.

If Kiara's so scared of her father why would she dare risk detection by sneaking deep into his land? She's well past the borders and quite close to Pride Rock if she's followed Kovu that far. If she wasn't risking detection by Simba himself, that would run a high chance of having her discovered by other lions who might be patrolling the Pridelands itself.

I didn't realise they were quite that close to Pride Rock ^^" To be fair, she has made it that far before, and right under Simba's nose, when she was a lot more inexperienced... though since that was the war's early days, I guess no-one was as alert then as they would be by this point.

Still, I would have liked her to see... oh well, I can probably work out some other way for her to find out, it's not a huge problem.

All logic aside Angel, I wouldn't mind Kiara bearing witness or at least even jumping to the conclusion that Kovu is now a hero.

although didn't Zira, Nuka and Vitani get super close to Pride Rock in the movie without being detected..? And Kiara was already in the Pridelands once before for a reunion with Vitani without the others detecting her presence. ^^;

Yeah, I thought of that too, actually; and since you wanted Simba to come in first, that's as much as she'd need to see, she could leave before any of the lionesses who might notice her joined him. I just thought it was best not to press the matter.

Maybe she could just observe the end of Rash Decision instead? Then she'll still have got the basic gist of what's going on, and she wouldn't have had to come as far into the Pridelands as everyone else seems is taking objection to. I mean, if she sees Kovu heading willingly in the direction of Pride Rock with a known traitor, that would still be enough for her to jump to the conclusion that he's selling them out.

if that's what you wanna do ^^ I'm seriously fine with Kiara even listening in on the conversation with Simba.. she could always be watching from a distance or even from a tree somewhere close by. Nuka and Zira were seen sitting in a tree near Pride Rock so Kiara could probably do it too.

Well... that was under the cover of darkness that they got that close in the movie. A lion up a tree would be a much more obvious sight in broad daylight. And there would probably be much more vigilant guards around Pride Rock now that it's the middle of wartime.

Besides, it feels to me as though everyone but you would have an issue with me doing that, so I thought it was better just to avoid any unnecessary conflict by not bringing her in there at all.

Hey simba I was wondering if it was ok if I started a platoon made entirely out of pups and a few children.
