Aahh... Shouldn't this be set on the 3rd or 4th? Hunting parties shouldn't be out for more than 24 hours unless the pride was informed, and the hunting party was kidnapped before dawn on Oct. 3rd.

Hmm. A good point. I wanted to make certain enough time had passed to make the gravity of the situation clear, but I'll set the date back several days. Thanks.

Um...just out of curiosity, why is this only open to lions and lionesses?

I'd hazard a guess that they'd be the first to notice the oddness of the hunting party not returning by this point (since other animals/humans probably don't know much about the lions' livelihoods and as such wouldn't know how long a hunting trip is supposed to last) so they'd be the first to react.

Well if Simba notices he'd probably have to talk to the generals about it. I doubt they want rumors running rampant about a missing princess and some of the lionesses that are loyal to her - that wouldn't exactly make him look good if someone came to the conclusion that someone might have arranged an unfortunate accident to rid themselves of opposition.

Right now, I'm waiting to see how it develops. Also, Tanglemane's a bit of a traditionalist, and views it as the king's responsibility to deal with such issues, much as he used to. And he's shrewd enough to not want to cause a possible panic.

If the current royals don't act soon, though, Tanglemane will go to the generals himself.

The Pridelands Route

Okay how does Shujaa even KNOW all of this stuff? Like where's the explanation? Why would he know Scar's plans for the lionesses?

Sorry I thought Scars plans for lioness was conmen knowledge. I mean it was never implied that Scar kept his plans for the lioness secrete and I mean an event like large group lioness being capturer draw a big crowed so the lioness presences at least would be conman knowledge, so I assumed Scar's plans for them would be to.     

It was also never implied that anyone other than Scar and Zira are aware of that plan in the present moment. Why on earth would Scar announce to the world that he's getting majorly laid?

This is driving me up the wall; use past tense and stick with it. "Thumps" is supposed to be "thumped."
