So... you're expecting me to jump into this thread at some point? Doesn't it make more sense to just keep it between Crescent and Elsa? I'm not seeing how Anna could contribute anything by being there, honestly.

She can contribute love for Crescent /shot

Undignified Arrival

Tojo... This actually was bugging me, and I had to look into it before actually saying anything. When you have massive blocks of pure dialogue from a character, it helps to break it up in a new paragraph. That way it's easier on the eyes. Something like this:

"You see, it's quite easy to do. You have your character go on with what they need to say, like so, and proceed as normal. Go on like this for a few sentences. Really, it's not too complicated to comprehend. Just a few sentences, really.

"Then, when you come to this point and realize your dialogue has gone on for a while , start a new paragraph but don't close the previous quotation with a second set of quotation marks. Instead, simply start a new paragraph capped off with a brand new quotation mark all it's own. Repeat until your character has said all that needs to be said. Then, close it with a final quotation mark."

See? Much neater and easier to read. I think you only need to do this with giant blocks of dialogue, but I like starting new paragraphs with every new bit of dialogue. It just looks neater to me.

Oops, sorry Lady ^^" I did think of mentioning it earlier, but I didn't want to say something and then find out that you actually had known XD;; But yeah, Annette's left shoulder is pretty badly mangled because 627 chewed on it when she and a few other pups tried to march into the outlands with a truce flag in order to persuade Scar to agree to peace. It's quite an old wound now, though, and I figure that by this point Annette would have taken to brushing her fur over it in such a way as to make it as unoticable as possible.

It's alright. I'm making my way through each pup's history individually. I know about the truce flag incident, but I must have missed the wound during my skim. (Three years of skimming...bound to miss something here or there. Just bare with me and give me as much detail as you can!)

Add to that, Lady may not know those scars are not something Annette got during puppy-hood. This is for all intents and purposes, the first time Lady is meeting her daughter. She is a little shell-shocked. Trying to make small talk and keep her emotions in check.

Ah... I hope you don't mind if I ask how come this thread's so far in the past? Pretty much everything else current is taking place mid-November to early December right now... I suppose I'm just wondering if there's a reason for this being set as far back as October, or if that was a mistake?

All the threads I saw were marked October oO October and then December. Unless I'm just seeing things ..

That can't be true. I brought Lady back on Nov. the 10th. (Edmund Fitzgerald day) And at least two threads that fallowed here in the Pridelands where on Nov. 11th and 20th.

Okay, so November's a bit thin on threads, it's true - we started December WAY too soon - but most of the October ones are gonna be really old threads that just haven't quite managed to die yet. It's up to you in the end, but I'd suggest you'd be better shifting her arrival to November so we can pad that month out a bit with more threads.
