And Toulouse, one final minor point to make about his past in the camp - he did meet Marie at one point when she was a human, but didn't recognise her.

I can think of two things happening now that Tod is 'dead'.
1. Zira leaves and Vixey stumbles upon Tod's 'dead' body. Insert Disney Death moment here.
2. Zira takes Tod as a hostage and he gets taken back to the Outlands, only for him to 'come back to life' in the presence of the animal villains including Chief and Tod has to make a mad dash back to the hero camp. Or confront Chief.
Personally I'd prefer for Tod's confrontation with Chief to be when Tod's not already been beaten up by Zira. That'd make it too easy for Chief, don't you think?

@tod: I vote for idea #2. Can garnar fallow after him in order to go and try and save his butt like tod did for him. Besides I would love for garnar to meet chief

Vixey: I think the first one is better. Not only does it reference the classic "Disney Death" morning-return to life scenario. It wouldn't necessitate a long drawn out RP to get Tod to the AV's camp, meet and fight Cheif, and then get him back. That is a plot that can stand on it's own minus the whole Dixie being killed by Tod issue, which in itself is mute when Dixie returns to the Villeins later on.
