Oh, a convenient plot that neither admin nor moderator mentioned when I cleared this idea by them is supposedly popping up? Clearly I must immediately alter my plot to suit your tastes.

It's not my plot. So I can't divulge more then that. Perhaps you should ask more about it with Nasira, as it is hers if I am not mistaken. After-all, we have known about it since Last December. Where where you?

And that still doesn't change the fact that I'm against it on principle, and I believe you are god-modding. Not-so-convenient plot or not.

I've been talking to Nasira about this plot since I came up with the idea. She is fully aware of what's going on and is in fact participating in this one as well.

Next objection?

Well, this became condescending really fast.
Nasira was not against Kula's plot at all. This has been discussed on a chat by us for a couple of days, and Nasira not once mentioned being against it, so I hardly think she believes this gets in the way of that plot.
In addition, while the thread is indeed forward in time, I do not see anything against it in the rules; it's not god-modding. She isn't making you throw your characters in there. Avoid the thread if you think it affects you that negatively, and, whether it becomes obsolete or not, it won't affect you.
I don't think 'where were you?' is even a valid point; are you gonna hold that against literally everyone who left this site in favor of Dante's? Kula had her reasons to leave, like everyone else. I have had my hiatuses, as have you, and no one holds it against anybody else. Just a thought.

I actually did tell you about the major plot point in one of my PM's to you, Kula.

And I had no idea Nasira had been discussing this with you so that's my fault for not knowing that.

I still would rather it not be responded to. Regardless of the major plot point or not, there's still a million different things that can happen between January 1st-3rd when most of the threads are being set and Mid February. Like I said, your post was fine when it was an intro post but now that Zukki has responded to it I think the date needs to be addressed.

I could always simply delete my post if Kula'd rather have me do that, of course.
I think it's fairly relevant to state Zukki's merely a background character and has never been a relevant plot mover, and I know for a fact that she and her cubs will remain alive by that date, and, otherwise, I don't think there's much that can affect her, considering, above all, that she's not part of an army and is currently a rouge who doesn't actively participate in battles since she gave birth and will continue to be inactive and of little relevance to war itself.

Okay, next objection:

You are still God-modding. I am against it being set so far ahead. Just on the basic principle that you are blowing the current Timeline. We are in December-early January. Once again, if you guys get away with posting so early, then everyone will want to. The timeline is for all of us. The RP moves in a linear timeline.

You seem to be stuck on the idea that I think your plot is not important. far from it. I LOVE the idea of a coup. I just think you are going complete the wrong way of dealing wight it. If it doesn't occur in the current timeline, Lead up to it so when the date does arrive you have the event established.

You know what, under your rules. Lets jump forward a few months. Why not a start a thread right now, in the RP in say....July of next year. I do have a plot that I plan to set in motion that lasts that long. In fact it's dramatic climax occurs right about then. Why not just jump that far ahead and RP out the dramatic climax. Never mind all the other players RPing around me. As far as my logic can see, that's what you are saying here.

Just fallow the rules ma,deer. All I'm saying.

Like I said; intro thread, perfectly fine. But keep it closed to you and Zukki then and try and farm out some of those lions. I could be wrong but I thought that was the plan all along was for other people (with the exception of you playing one of the males) to play the pride Kula took over.

If that was wrong, I'm sorry, I'm just saying what my interpretation of what I was told was.

A group of us were given permission to play a few pride members, yes; I do not intend to speak for Kula, I'm simply stating I do have a lady that is part of that group and was intending to throw her in later on, when we have more pride memebers and also because I'm still not sure where the rest of the prides, males aside, is located at the moment ^^"
And, of course, I have yet to make her application, which I will continue working on shortly.

You mentioned that there was something in the works yes, but considering that's all I have to work with and Nasira offered no objection... And if this has anything to do with the New Year plot, we can't exactly wait forever on that... There's no way for me to know if the two can't mesh together. I mean this is a thread for Kula's return. It's an introduction thread to a new plot mixed with a cast of new characters, nothing more.

Realistically, with the rate that the forum has been going, what could possibly happen between January and February that would affect everyone? No plots have been initiated or seem to be on the cusp of initiation. Some of us do want to get on with the roleplay, not just wait for other plots to begin... As Zukki said, this is entirely voluntary. If people want to respond, I say let them respond. It's something to do.

As for the lions, I still only plan on playing Rashidi. The other two were mentioned because the introduction required that they be mentioned, but they are going to be put up for people to claim. I am only playing Rashidi when it comes to Kula's pride. Along with him, there are the two males that need to be adopted, two other males that have been claimed, and two females. All are played by different people. As I originally planned to only have Kula bring in ten new characters, that leaves three more open slots for new lions to fill, if people are interested... And if more people are interested, again, I can bump up the limit on the pride, if I'm allowed.

Hey, question. I know this is really a nitpick and it's probably none of my business, but ah... How does Redeyes know how to fight like a human? He's only been a human for... What? Not even a month? A few weeks at the most? And he hasn't been in any training thread as far as I know. So... How does he magically know how to fight like a human would?

Ray: he's been watching how human train back at camp (offscreen so to speak) he has also been in enough battles to figure out most of it. right now he's just winging it.

Watching isn't necessarily the same thing as doing. But whatever. You do what you want.

WRITE IN PAST TENSE. I CANNOT EVEN UNDERSTAND THE POST. I'm literally going to tell people to stop responding when anyone does that.
Second you are aware that Raine could get butchered here as soon as I put the autohit rule in effect for...y'know a 15 pound pup attacking a 50 plus pound wolf.

Raine - For the love of all that is holy, PLEASE listen to what Stitch and I are trying to tell you. You need to write in past tense. This isn't a polite suggestion, it is a thing that is absolutely necessary. Everyone else writes in past tense for the most part, so it goes without saying that the same is expected of you. That means you have to write things like this:

Raine jumped over the log.

Not like this:

Raine jumps over the log.

Okay, but for real. Past tense means that you write actions your character does as though it was happening in the past. So you would write things such as said, handed, walked, ran, growled... Basically take your action and apply an 'ed' at the end of it where applicable. I know I'm not the best teacher, but there are members who are on this site that are far better teachers than I could ever hope to be. If you need help, ask them.

Second, you need to make it so that your posts are actually able to be read and understood by more than just yourself.

And finally, you do realize that you're throwing a little dog at some wolves and expecting him to come out unscathed, right? That simply isn't realistic. With the new rule that has been implemented, larger characters can pretty much do whatever they want (such as smack you away or do other auto hit type things) if a smaller character is dumb enough to take them on. Not to say that small characters should be underestimated, but you have to pick your opponents a bit better now. Wolves should realistically have no problem taking on a small dog, not to mention knocking him around and doing whatever they like.
