Alright, I really didn't want to make this announcement and I realize there is going to be sever backlash on me for doing this but it's my job to keep this place running smoothly and fairly.
With Kula's rebellion coming up, Nala's pending insanity, Kiara's realization of her past and Zira on a batshit crazy killing spree, the fact that we don't have an active Simba is making it increasingly difficult to keep this roleplay moving with complex plot points and even moving forward with any hero portion of the war.
Example: There was a dragon attack on the hero camp. Are we supposed to just assume Simba was sitting in his cave playing checkers and painting his nails during this attack?
With that said, we have/had a Simba, but the player is not active. As such, I think we need to find a new Simba, someone who will be active, involved and have Simba contribute to the war more than he has before.
Call me cruel or whatever, that's your right, but Simba's a VERY important character to this plot and we need someone as active as they can possibly be and as skilled as our prior Simba was to keep things moving.
As such, I'm opening Simba to the public. If you are interested in Simba, post here and send me a sample post.
Note: NONE OF THE STAFF WILL BE TAKING HIM. After the backlash of last time I refuse to take him on, Nasira has Scar, Angel has Kiara and Ray's kindly declined the offer. So do not be concerned that the staff might snatch him up.
HOWEVER, the person who takes him will be evaluated on several criteria. Don't let this discourage you but please really seriously think about whether you can handle a character of such weight and importance.
Everyone can and probably will hate me now but this is how it has to be. We need an active Simba, we don't have one.
