Actually, they are all extremely racist. The whole caricature motif is a pun on the "lazy jive speaking black man" that was popular in the 1940s pre-civil rights movement era. Now, having said that, they are not as bad as some other cartoons as all of the crows are sympathetic to Dumbo's plight and are capable of intelligent choice, which is unlike the general portrayal of the caricature. Still, they are all based off an extremely racist stereotype that makes Stitch understandably uncomfortable.

I'm all for non-censorship and I feel that nothing from our past should be censored or removed from old cartoons, as they are a product of their time. But given the great number of characters available for use, the context of the RP site, and the baggage this one and his crow buddies have with them, perhaps it's wiser for the player to choose another and let this one be?

^ Thank you, Lady. That is the exact reason I think that Jim and his buddies shouldn't be allowed. Besides, Stitch stated herself that she would prefer if they weren't claimed. I think that and the reason Lady has thoughtfully taken the time to write out is more than enough proof for why they shouldn't be allowed. And if the admin herself is uncomfortable with the characters, then that's even more of a reason for them not to be allowed.

would that mean the Roustabouts would't be allowed either? (not that anyone would claim one though) i mean the crows aren't nearly as bad as the Roustabouts. i'm pretty sure i read somewhere they were flat out slaves. i mean even the song makes them sound like they are slaves?. At least Jim and his friends help out Dumbo and all.

is there anything i should know about Marahute? any past players or such or am i free to do whatever i want with her? i saw we had a Cody at one point who was with the Animal Villains.

She had one previous player, but they didn't do much with her.

i swear i remember Marahute having 2 players the 2nd one had her with Nuka's little army or something living in nottingham and then i'm not sure what became of her after Nuka's troops were back in the outlands.

First Marahute player made a grand total of zero posts as her after the application, so we don't count her. Second one, yeah, had her with Nuka's army briefly; but then she was dropped without doing anything of real significance either, so there's nothing worth taking into account.

Has Kala had any old players or can i start anew with her? Anything i should know about her?

She's not been claimed on here before, no, so you've got pretty much free reign with her.

Actually, I recall that she did have one player previously. But that player didn't do much that was terribly noteworthy, so you can pretty much just do what you want with her.
