For the record, NOS isn't purposefully godmodding with that; I can't remember the exact episode, but I know it was mentioned somewhere in the series that Terillium (sp?) was one of the strongest metals in the known universe (yet ridiculoudly light too)... I think it was more of a plot device thing, so that no-one died too easily with all these energy blasts flying around.

Comas are the result of head trauma usually anyways - what he'd be experiencing would most likely be 'shock'. That said, I'd love an explanation as to how a small boy with not even a shirt to protect his body was expected to survive after being put in the path of a man-eating tiger who is known to tear his opponents apart.

i wanna know how this is gonna play out to now that you put it that way. in real life the blood-loss would be to much. not to mention that Tipo surely has a shit load of internal damage.

Makes me wonder how his lungs responded to that damage. I wouldn't be surprised if his body began to shut down from the trauma.
