Post by Thumper on Apr 5, 2012 10:54:05 GMT -5
"Why didn't you just say that to me before"? Thumper said . He liked a good game of tag as much as the next bunny. And all though this wasn't tag he was willing to let Crescent chase him. It pleased the pup and as long as her intent wasn't to eat him or harm him or kill him, Thumper was more then willing to let the pup have a little fun. "You should have just told me that before, I love playing just as much as anyone else. I bet you can't keep up with me puppy" Thumper said racing ahead of Crescent laughing happily.

Not far from the others a big old bear was sitting underneath a tree trying to cool off. The pridelands was defiantly not a spot for a bear like Tug but still he came for the sake of Koda, and now that he assessed that their was more kids then just him he would defiantly look into helping them also. If it was one thing Tug was, was very caring and very protective of youngings. Call it a father instinct but Tug couldn't just let little ones get hurt.
Anyway though, the big bear had been resting against a tree catching some Z's when the sound of laughter enter his ears. He opened his tired eyes and let out a yawn. He watched as a little rabbit ran by along with a pup and raised a brow. "Now what's going on here?" He questioned.

Post by Hen Wen on Apr 9, 2012 14:36:00 GMT -5
Hen Wen was trotting past when she herself, heard the comotion nearby and in turn, slowed down her trot as her head turned to what was going on. She slowed right down before stopping where where she was and just looking at the small gathered group. Her facial expression changed to more of a confused look, just wondering what exactly was going on.
Her eyes caught sight of Cresent, that dalmatian puppy that she had seen here and there in the camp, the odd one....well, odd as in, hypeactive odd to herself. The one that also spoke strangely at times. But that's when Thumper rushed past her and in turn, Hen Wen's eyes gazed towards the rabbit, then back towards the group yet again.

Since it seemed that Crescent and Thumper had gone off ahead of him, Dodger came to a halt and let his tongue hang out of his mouth as he tried to catch his breath. It had been ages since he had participated in a chasing game of any kind and he had successfully tired himself out for a bit. His attention shifted to Hen Wen after a moment, though, and he quickly brought his tongue back into his mouth. How long had that little piggy been standing there? Intrigued, Dodger approached her and decided to start up a conversation.
"How's it goin'? You don't see shenanigans like this happening every day, now do you?" Dodger asked. Things certainly had become rather interesting since Crescent had arrived and joined him for a brief conversation. Now things were more interesting with the unfamiliar pig present.

Hen Wen glanced at who was talking to her and allowed for him to speak up first before she would asnwer his question "No, I suppose one doesn't...." she started as her eyes trailed back to Crescent in particular, then to Dodger once again "Is she always this....hyperactive?" Hen Wen decided to then enquire about Crescent just a little more. She had to at least understand if this was normal for the Dalmatian puppy, or if something else was going on here.
Then again, Hen Wen hadn't exactly known anyone to really be all that hyperactive, which would in turn, would be why she would have no idea if acting that way was normal, or if it wasn't in the end.

Dodger could only shrug a little in response to the question. He really had no idea if Crescent was always zipping around like that, but if it was the case then it certainly was an amusing case. "Who knows? She sure is a lively one, though." Dodger commented. He almost wanted to back and give chase to try and see if he could get her calmed down, but he didn't exactly want to leave Hen Wen by herself again. So, Dodger decided to stay put. After all, what harm was there in having a relaxed conversation with someone?
"I don't think I've really had the chance to talk to you before. You got a name?" Dodger asked. He knew she probably did, but that was just his typical way of asking.

Hen Wen glanced towards Crescent, then back towards Dodger as he spoke up once again as he asked her another question, about her name as she nodded back lightly at that "Yes, I do have a name....it is Hen Wen" she started, eyes gazing back at Crescent yet again, as if she was still trying to understand as to why the pup was so hyperactive all the time.
Though she just seemed to shrug it off in the end as her gaze shifted towards Dodger once again "And might I ask as to what name you go by?" she decided to ask. After all, she had given away her own name, she might as well try and learn his name as well.

"Dodger's the name. Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Hen Wen." Dodger replied. Hen Wen. It was an unusual name, but by that point Dodger was used to coming across strange names in the war. There were bound to be more names he had never heard before and he was just going to have to get used to that fact. Now that they had gotten to at least know each others' names, Dodger wondered if maybe Hen Wen would want to participate in the shenanigans that were taking place. Someone had to keep an eye on Crescent, after all. Otherwise she was bound to get herself into some situation or another.
"You think we should keep an eye on Crescent there? I'm not usually the babysitter type, but someone's gotta keep an eye on the kid. Am I right?" Dodger asked. It made enough sense to him, at any rate. If no one kept an eye on her then she would just keep on tearing through camp like no tomorrow. That probably wouldn't be good for anyone that was looking to have some peace and quiet.

"Yeah, we probably should kids and their fun usually leads some type of trouble." Tug said overhearing Dodger and Hen Wen's conversation. Getting up the bear walked over to the other two and towering over them easily. However, he rather quickly laid down just so he could be on eye level with the both of them. "Excuse me for eavesdropping just say those two run by me then I saw you too." He stated crossing his forearms and smiling softly. "My name's Tug by the way before you asked." He said and grinned a little.
