A Little Peace and Quiet

Reassured by the friendly temperament of the vixen, and of the fact that she was fairly new also, Mirage's smile widened and she relaxed a little as she shook her hand, or rather, paw. "It's a pleasure to meet you too. I'm not looking for anyone really...just looking for a new start..." She turned to the chicken who the vixen introduced as Lady Kluck. "Pleased to meet you."

"Likewise" Lady Kluck replied

Maid Marian smiled gently, nodding to the dogs as well. "I'm sorry things got out of hand." She gestured to the gorilla with Tarzan. "Anyways, I do hope you all find yourselves comfortable." She smiled at Mirage. "So, looking for a new start. I'm sorry for whatever must have been bothering you. I'm afraid I've had an uncle who was a bit of trouble for the rest of my family, personally."
She turned to the hen. "So, Lady Kluck, what are doing all the way out here? How did you even know where I was?"

The hug surprised her a bit, but still, her first instinct was to hug him back. Public displays of affection usually embarrassed Jane for the most part, but at the moment she couldn’t bring herself to care, although a little blush did manage to creep it's way onto the girls otherwise pale skin. Momentarily, her insecurities over what she’d heard melted away. Tarzan was happy she was alive, and Jane was happy to be back with her family, save for her father, who she’d have to contact in some way. This was a good thing, regardless of what happened in the past. Maybe she’d press on the issue at hand more later, in a much less public place (Jane was a rather private person, after all.)

When he asked if the war had hurt her she shook her head. “I’ve hardly been of much help.” She said, a bit angry at that fact. “In fact I’ve left a few times, which I hope won’t happen again.” She finished. She didn’t know if she wanted to stay or go home. But truthfully, the heroes could use Tarzan’s help, and to a lesser extent, Jane. “What about you, you are alright, aren’t you?” She asked with concern.

"I figured you and Robin would need a hand in the war, not to mention that scurvy knave, Prince John was involved" Lady Kluck explained, obviously eager to tarnish the cowardly prince's name once again.

Tarzan was glad she hadn't been hurt.

"I'm glad you're safe. I haven't been hurt yet. I've mostly been training. I made a few friends here, and was in a few battles. Have you seen Terk or Tantor out here? Mega told me they were here but I haven't seen them yet." said Tarzan.

Mega broke out into a smile again. "I'm glad your dad's alive" Mega said sitting himself down on his rump watching as Tarzan and Jane reunite "but what i'm really glad about is that i found Jane for ya" he pulls his head up proudly. The male lion was quite proud of himself at the moment.

"Prince John? Here?" Maid Marian raised an eyebrow. "I... I should have known, but what does he want here? Doesn't Uncle Richard still have in in the stoneyard?" Did Robin know? Well, the bigger issue would be if the Sheriff of Nottingham was here.

She cleared her throat as she turned back to Mirage. "Anyways, is there anything you might need? I'm not sure if Tarzan is particularly in your run of companions, but maybe Jane is." She waved at the brunette woman. "Jane? Miss Porter?"

Mheetu sighed heavily. He walked away from the camp and saw a female fox in a dress, a male lion, a male human with brown tangled hair, a hen in a dress, a female human with brown hair, a silver back gorilla, and another female human with white hair. He thought about going up to them, but struggled with his shyness and fear of humans. The gorilla frightened him as well. He focused on the lion and forced himself to walk towards the group. "Uh, hi. I'm Mheetu. Do you mind if I join you?" he asked looking at his paws.

"huh?" Mega turns and finds himself face to face with mheetu "sure, your Nala's little brother right?" he asks tilting his head down so that he was looking eye to eye with the lion "I really don't see what's so interesting about your paws?" he jokes knowing that the lion was shy and all. "I'm Mega by the way" he offers a smile.

"Thank you Mega. I'm glad you helped me find her." said Tarzan.

When another lion arrived he smiled at him.

"Hello. I'm Tarzan. Nice to meet you." said Tarzan.

He had enough cats as enemies back home. Meeting Mega had changed his thinking that all of them were evil. He still hadn't met Simba or most of the others here so they couldn't be bad if they were on the heroes side. He was pulled from his thoughtas as he heard Maid Marian and Lady Kluck calling out for Jane.

"I think you have some new friends as well. We can catch up more later." said Tarzan.

He paused as he just realized something. He turned to Jane.

"Your father still thinks your'e dead. We need to let him know you're alright. Maybe we should visit him in England soon?" said Tarzan.

Mheetu looked up at Mega, "Yeah, that's me. Nala's brother." He glanced at Tarzan and gave a small smile. He still feared humans, but decided that he liked Tarzan. "Oh, uh, hi, Tarzan. I'm Mheetu." he replied ducking his head.

Mirage briefly wondered who Prince John was, but assumed he was a villain due to the way the hen and the vixen spoke of him. She turned to see the brown haired woman the vixen called 'Jane'. "Oh...well, I don't really know anyone here," she said quickly. "But it would be nice to meet new people."

Her green eyes drifted over to Jane, and she noticed that a new lion had entered the group. His fur was lighter than the other lion's, and his mane was a lovely sandy colour. He also seemed somewhat shyer than the other lion. She gave the lion a welcoming smile, hoping he'd catch her eye and see her smile. She had felt nervous too when she first came.

She nodded at Tarzan when he said they'd catch up more later. She turned to see the person who called her, but turned back when Tarzan spoke again. Blue-green eyes lit up at the mention of her father. She'd love nothing more than to go see him. "Could we really?" She asked. She didn't know about leaving again, nevertheless her voice sounded eager at seeing her father once more. Jane had always shared a special bond with her father, and knowing he thought she was dead hurt her, she could only imagine how she'd feel if she was ever told that. "I'd love to>" She said. By that, she really meant let's go as soon as possible, but really, that would seem rude.

She swiftly turned back to Marian and saw that she was trying to introduce her to Mirage. Both seemed to be nice, though Mirage was a bit more reserved than Marian. "Jane Porter, lovely to meet you both." She said with a kind smile on her face. She'd already introduced herself to the vixen, but she didn't think Mirage has heard. She extended her hand for the other woman to shake.

After smiling at the paler lion, Mirage turned her smile to Jane. "Nice to meet you too Jane," she said, shaking the brunette's hand. She looked behind her to Tarzan, who appeared to be a wild man with very unkempt hair. So far, Jane seemed to be the only ordinary person she had met so far - she would have to get used to the diversity of this army. She turned her attention back to Jane. "How long have you been in this war, then?"
