(ooc: October 13th. Open to only Lilo and Stitch for the first handful of posts, then Outlands Experiments can jump in to deal with the intruders.)
"Okay, so here's the plan. We go into the Outlands and see how things are going down around there. Since it's just the two of us, we'll need to be extra careful. We don't want to have to deal with anymore if we don't have to. Also, we're just here to look around. Just to see if anything's going on that we should know about. Okay?"
Lilo had convinced Stitch to come with her into the Outlands. Doing so was dangerous, especially after the disastrous misadventure that had led to Scamp, Geno, and the Great Prince's deaths before, but Lilo had grown curious. She had seen less and less of the supposedly evil cousins. Sure she'd encountered Belle and Spats before, but other than that... Well, Lilo wanted to know if anything was going on. More importantly, she wanted to make sure that nothing out of the ordinary was going on in the Outlands.
At present, the two were positioned behind a mound of dirt positioned outside of the Outlands territory. Once they confirmed what they were going to do, they would move forward to investigate.
"Don't worry, Stitch. I don't intend on getting hurt here. We're just gonna investigate," she said.

Stitch whimpered, ears dropping down as his claws folded over one another. He sighed, lifting his head and shifting it back and forth to make sure there wouldn't be an ambush.
He'd begged. He'd pleaded. He'd yelled. He did NOT want Lilo back in the outlands. Last time she'd almost died trying to be a hero and now the experiment was leading her right back into danger. Or more like following her into danger. "Lilo not intend on getting hurt last time," he pointed out, eyes narrowed as he scanned the surrounding area. Suppose 627 was around? Or Spats? Or a lion or two? Stitch was on full attack mode with his extra arms folded out of his body, his quills showing and his antennae dancing on his head. He was going to make sure they didn't get jumped.
He nodded to Lilo and crouched on all fours. "Let's go if we gotta," he said, waving her on, "Meega make sure nobody hurt Lilo. Meega make sure."

Lilo smiled; it was good to know that Stitch was willing to back her up even if the idea seemed absolutely crazy. What sane mind would want to venture into the Outlands just to investigate the present situation there? The worst case scenario involved them being attacked, while the best case scenario ended with them keeping their lives. Lilo had always been a bit daring, though. She didn't mind danger. So, with a nod in answer to Stitch's, Lilo began to creep into the area ahead of her.
"So far, so good. It doesn't look like anyone's around right now," she whispered. They'd have to pray it stayed that way. After all, the last thing they needed was to encounter Spats, Belle, or anyone else from their ohana who had decided to join this side of the fighting. Lilo was confident, though. Nothing bad was going to happen, and so she felt safe enough in doing what they were doing.
As she looked around, Lilo became aware of the fact that the quiet was rather unsettling. Why would things be so quiet in a land occupied by their enemies? The better question was what they had been up to recently.
"See anything weird yet, Stitch?" she asked.
