A Misty Afternoon

Shujaa was nervous this would be the first time he had interacted with anyone in hero's army outside of the lions and most of them weren't making him feel welcome but hopefully the hyena will have better luck everyone else. Shujaa gulped then slowly made his way towers the gathering of heroes. “Hello,” Shujaa said, his attempts hiding his nervousness failing miserably.

It was Tojo's turn to feel a little uncomfortable upon seeing the hyena he wasn't really comfortable with him around. He didn't recognize this particular hyena which meant it had no help in his mother's death.

He sighed a little and put on a small smile." Hello." He said softly. It wasn't the hyena's he was holding anger for any way it was Scar." you look nervous something wrong..?" He asked.

"It's that obvious," Shujaa sighed "it’s just that this my first socializing and I want make a good impression, what about you, I mean I don't want to prey but seem pretty uncomfortable for a moment there seemed to be pretty uncomfortable for a moment is something wrong?”

Tojo sighed at this." Don't take it the wrong way it's just I've never had a great past with Hyenas.." He explained." They took out my mother when I was just a mere cub by Scar's orders.. surprisingly I don't blame them for it though I blame the one who ordered the attack." He explained to the hyena." I guess I still have a slight fear for them though." He stated gently before looking over at Shujaa.

Tojo shook his head." No need to apologize I started going all out too so now we know a little about each other.. I'm sorry about your mother.. it is obvious scar must be stopped and you know as well as I that he won't negotiate with anyone even someone as nice as Sarabi.. so that's why I need your help.. I need to know anything and everything you know about the Outlands.." He said softly." I know I won't be of a lot of help to anyone here now but if I can at least help others before Scar or who ever else from the other side strikes me down then at least I know I've made a little bit of a difference." he stated." Are you willing to help me Shujaa..?" He asked.

Jarrod stalks threw the tall grass as he comes upon the group of soilders.

"Hello there, chaps" the mutt said as he moves towards them. "sure is a nice afternoon  eh?" Jarrod said waging his tail as well as flashing a grin to the group.

Tojo stopped and looked over at the young canine." Oh um yes good morning sir. I am Tojo pleased to meet you." He said kindly giving the canine a friendly smile." Lovely afternoon indeed my friend" He stated in return.
