Yeah, same here. I doubt it'll last more than a couple a days. A week at the most," "I...I..I don't know, Shenz. I honestly have no idea! I don't think about stuff like that! We might just have to tough it out and learn ta, I dunno, adapt or somethin'. If it's dark, the food won't see us comin' or nothin'. I'm sure it'll be all over in a couple of days...right Ed?"
"Pffft, Banz, Ed ain't here. He wandered off somewhere a while ago. You're just seein' things." The female said bluntly, not caring or bothering to turn around and see that Ed was right behind herself, Banzai and their little protege, instead she focused her gaze on Missy, just to check that she was ok. For some reason, Shenzi started to be concerned for Missy, not the cliche'd "I'm only concerned for her because my friend and I are going to make her a killer and use her to kill our enemies." it wasn't near that, the hyena matriarch was experiencing a different type of concern, one which wasn't felt very much. "Hey, kid. It'll be alright." She said as she gave Missy a little reassuring pat on the back.
The female didn't believe the darkness would last for a week for a minute. The odd of the sun returning after a week were complete and utter bullshit. She caught onto Banzai's behavior and body language, and could tell that he was being strong for the sake of the two females. Normally, Shenzi would've been disgusted that he was trying to keep calm for herself, she could do that just fine. But since the dalmatian was there and since it wasn't a normal situation, she could understand why he was trying to be strong for their little hell-hound, and for some unknown and strange reason, it made the female feel slightly touched to know that.
No, no. Banz is your friend, one of your closest and best friends, don't you even dare start thinking that mushy-lovey-dovey romance bullshit, Shenzi. When Banzai turned around and jumped to the male behind them, it immediately shook the female out of her thoughts.
"Ed? ED?! What the hell man!? Where have you been?"
"Banzai! What the fuck did I say?! Ed fuckin' wandered off and didn't come back! End of the fuckin' story! You're fuckin' seeing shit!" Shenzi snapped, still not bothering to throw even a slight glance at Ed. The only real reason why Shenzi wasn't believing her friend, was because fear changed people, made them go crazy or see shit, like a friend who had been gone for months had finally come back. Finally when Banzai spoke once more, she turned around, and saw Ed.
"Holy shit! Shenz...Ed came back!"
"Ed? Is it that really you?" The female said, eyes widened in shock that her other best friend had finally come back after months of being gone. Shenzi knew that it was Ed, but it was one of those questions where that someone would ask when they saw someone they hadn't seen in a long, long, long, long time. "Where the fuck have you been Ed?" Shenzi said before jumping over next to both of her friends, leaving Missy alone. 'The Trio is back, guys." She whispered to two males, before realizing that the dalmatian was alone. "Missy, kid come over here, there's someone we'd like ya ta meet."
The female muttered to the dalmatian, hoping that she could either hear her voice or have enough night vision to make out the three shapes that where Shenzi, Banzai and Ed.
"Of course Iseult,"
"Thanks Val." She said, relieved that Val had toned down his light a bit. Not really knowing what to do next, the lioness moved towards the unicorn. Iseult who was never really good, no she had no clue when interacting with her friends, let alone any Outlanders except to make a few small comments on some topic before walking away, to do something else. "Hi." She awkwardly muttered to the male, not really sure of what to do next and how to act.
Iseult's orbs wandered down to her paws and stared at her now unsheathed claws. An idea stuck her like a bolt of lightning, it was a possibly stupid idea, but an idea nonetheless. Iseult took a small sharp breath and lifted her head up, so that she was now looking up at Zira. " Zira, I have a question; what are we going to do if the plants stop growing, and prey begins to die out from hunger?" She asked, before quickly looking at Valishu, hoping that his reaction to her question wouldn't be a bad one.
