As soon as the man spoke, the chains conjured behind him lashed out, wrapping around his arms and legs, forcing him to remain on his knees, unable to rise. Once Redeyes was securely bound, the Horned King reached out with a bony hand, and gripped his new servant by his throat, pulling him forward as the black pits of his eyes lit with an unholy crimson light. He released the crafted eye, which floated in midair, and raised his free hand towards the man's face.
"To ensure you do not misplace this token, it shall become a part of you," he intoned, then plunged his talons into the man's left eye socket, holding him in place with an iron grip while he removed the eye with brutal, vicious efficiency. He discarded the bloody eye with a careless flick of his fingers, sending it to disappear into the surrounding darkness beyond the circle of fire.
"Consider that your penance for daring to raise your hand against me," he remarked drily. He seized the crafted eye once more, and, still holding the man in place, placed it into his empty eye socket. As he slid it into place, he cast a spell to graft it into Redeyes' head, replacing the one he'd ripped out. As the spell worked its purpose, and the eye took root, the Horned King saw himself through it, eyes blazing bright crimson.
"Now go, and serve me well," he ordered, releasing his hold and dismissing the summoned chains and fire. He had his eye among the Heroes, now. And if Redeyes thought to do as little as possible, well, he would find that the eye he'd been given would burn as hot as fire within his skull should his new master be displeased with his progress.
