(OOC: The 20th, early morning. This thread is NOT public, being primarily for Angel, 'Tani, Mooch and Scamp. If you have a different character you think would benefit the scene with their appearance, please PM me to check before bringing them in.)
Angel awoke early the next morning, a smile upon her muzzle, and memories of last night, spent alone with Patch, fresh in her mind. She'd requested that Tiana prepare a plate of spaghetti and meatballs for them - in her experience, a romantic meal - and the nurse/cook had obliged. They hadn't talked much during the evening, just sat, enjoying each others' company and their love. Squeaky-Toy was still asleep as she rose and stretched. She licked his head gently as she past, making her way out of the tent. He didn't stir, although Angel could swear a content smile appeared on his face. Sparing one final glance back at him, she pushed her way out of the tent, into the fresh morning air. She had to attend training later that morning, but first, she needed to talk to 'Tani about a... sensitive matter. She hoped the young lioness would also be up now.

Vitani was indeed up. She had been up for a while, just like every other morning. She was currently relaxing in the shade of Priderock. She had decided, ever since her breakdown at the Watering Hole, that she would skip her early morning training and simply relax.
She was hoping that later on she could have another adventure with Mooch and Scamp, like the Crystal Cave only with less hyenas. She wanted to do something nice with her two best friends.

It wasn't long before Angel caught sight of the young lioness lounging near Pride Rock. She approached slowly, keeping herself visible, so that 'Tani wouldn't interpret it as another attack like at the water hole that time. She still felt terrible about that, although now wasn't the time to dwell on it. "How's your leg?" she asked as she reached 'Tani's position and sat oposite her. She still couldn't believe that she'd let herself get so... so caught-up in vengance then. She desperately hoped that it wouldn't happen again.

Vitani lifted her head and smiled at Angel "It's good. Tiana made me get these things called 'stitches' they were worse than the actual injury." Vitani said.
The nurse had insisted on her getting them in even though she had flatly refused them. She had learnt a painful lesson that day. Never say no to Tiana. Still, her leg was fully healed and she could barely make out when the original injury had been.
She had forgiven Angel for her attack. She wasn't the one to blame.
"So what's up with you?" Vitani asked curiously.

Angel took a deep breath. "Did you hear what happened yesterday? Scamp saw me and Patch together and attacked him. I haven't seen him since. I think he's slipping back into his depression." She grimaced. She hated the thought of what Tenderfoot must be putting himself through, but she'd be the last person he'd want to see right now - the girl who'd broken his heart. "You're Scamp's friend, right?" she asked. "Can I ask you a favour?"

Vitani looked slightly confused but nodded all the same. She had never known Scamp to attack someone, especially someone Angel cared about. The last thing she wanted for her friend was him to slip back into his depression. She had seen him when he first arrived and it was not a pretty sight.
"Sure." she agreed, shifting her position so that she was able to look Angel in the face "What do you need? Do you want me to talk to Scamp? I know he's been a bit...obsessive lately."

"I'm not sure how much good simply talking to him would do." Angel replied with a shrug. "Scamp can be... difficult to persuade once he's made up his mind." She paused for a moment, unsure how 'Tani would take this request. "I was hoping you could, maybe, direct his attention towards another girl?" her shoulders sagged a bit. "It doesn't really matter who, I just need him off my back for a while."

Vitani looked somewhere between confused and slightly shocked at Angel's request. It was easier said than done. Scamp loved Angel, and Angel only. She doubted he would want any other girl. Still...
"Uh...I'll try." Vitani replied after a few minutes.

"ALRIGHT, Scamp." Mooch shouted loud enough for the whole camp to hear. He and Scamp were in the training grounds in the center of camp. The gray furred sheep dog has a piece of grass in his mouth and was marching back and forth in front of his friend.
"We gotta get you in shape for your big fight with Patch," he said softly, "And maybe your pop. Alright now, run at me. Come and get me!" He lowered his head and growled challenging his friend. He had to help Scamp regain his spine if he was ever going to win Angel back. The adoption thing had gotten him, the little pup had a point. Scamp was a bit younger than Mooch so Mooch was going to go easy on him. But not too much.

Angel nodded. "I know it'll be difficult," she acknowledged. "He's obsessed at the moment. But he's more likely to listen to you than any of us." 'Us' meaning his family. Looking at Vitani then, Angel couldn't help but wonder if, in a different place and time, Scamp might have fallen for the young lioness instead of her. She said nothing of the thought to 'Tani, however, instead just saying "I appreciate it. Thank you."

Scamp gritted his teeth. His eyes narrowed, and he pounced, throwing himself towards Mooch. Truthfully, he had no clue at all how to handle himself in a serious fight - the nearest he'd ever had were playfights back home with his siblings, and even then, Angel and Danielle invariably managed to beat him. As his body collided with Mooch, he snapped at the other dog's legs and tail, although the attempts were more playful than vicious. As of yet, Scamp didn't know how to be the kind of fighter Mooch was intent on turning him into, and it was painfully obvious.

Vitani knew that the task at hand would be far from easy. First of all she had to find another dog, Penny or Rebecca seemed like good candidates. Something deep inside her whspered her own name but she shoved this aside. Her feelings weren't what mattered. It was Scamp and Angels'

Angel smiled at 'Tani's response, but the smile seemed distracted. In her mind, she hovered uncertainly on the verge of suggesting that, in fact, 'Tani herself might be the best choice. If Angel knew Scamp as well as she thought she did, he'd be much more likely to go for Vitani than any of the dalmatians she'd seen around camp. She couldn't come out and say that to 'Tani's face, though - she had no idea what 'Tani's response would be. Disgust, most likely, at the cross-species aspect. Still, as she turned to go, she locked eyes with 'Tani for a moment, and suggested "Maybe you don't just want to look among the dogs." With that, she turned and headed back to Patch, hardly daring to wonder if her friend had picked up her meaning or not.

Mooch couldn't help but let out a laugh as Scamp's body collided with his. The pup knew how to play, but not how to seriously fight. Mooch knew how to fight; the chip in his ear was proof enough. But he didn't want to hurt Scamp. The dog was skinny, weak and small. He really didn't want to hurt him too badly. House dog, Mooch thought with a roll of his eyes. He may have been a pet but Mooch lived outside in the wilderness of the farm with the other animals. He was an aggressive dog, still a fighter. He would make Scamp a fighter. Turning on his back, the sheepdog grabbed Scamp by the ear. He used his teeth though and got to his feet hoping to pull Scamp to the ground as he got up. The dog had to learn.

Scamp struggled furiously, but Mooch was much stronger than him, and he found himself being roughly pulled to the ground. Massaging his ear, he glared for a moment, before scrambling back to his feet. Instead of employing any of the playfightning moves he knew, he let his mind flash back to the fight in the Pound. He leapt for Mooch again, more serious this time, his paws out in front of him the way dad had tackled Reggie, intent on shoving the other dog over.
