Here is the Character Template I'll ask you to fill out. Note that the things in parenthesis NEED TO BE REMOVED. They are their as a guide and nothing else so please delete them from your applications.

Name: Nicolas “Nick” Wilde

Physical Appearance: Although Nick is anthropomorphic, underneath the clothes he looks like a regular fox. He has russet fur, large green eyes and darkened ears and paws. His tail is fluffy and dark at the tip. His belly and muzzle are a creamy color. Normally he is dressed in khakis, a green button down collared shirt and a striped navy blue and pink tie. Though when he first arrives at the war, Nick is wearing his ZPD uniform complete with badge.

Personality: Nick, to the outside world, embodies the stereotype of the sly fox. He’s crafty, witty, charming and able to talk himself out of many a situation. He’s rarely serious and often tells a few jokes or snaps a few snide comments the way of other animals. Though under the fluff, Nick is a soft, sweet soul. He’s sincere and loyal, pretty much up for backing up anyone who has his back. Though he’s quick to judge and quick to mistrust, his friendship with Judy helps him ease up a bit. Though he’s still a right sarcastic bastard.

History: Nick was born in Zootopia to a single mother who was pretty poor. Nick was a friendly kit and always liked to help his mother do whatever she needed. Nick had a dream of joining the predator free Junior Ranger Scouts and his mother, to make him happy, scraped together as much money as she could to buy him one. Excited, Nick went to a scout meeting but was horrified when he learned it wasn’t an initiation but a hazing. He was beat up by the prey animal and muzzled. Running outside, Nick threw the muzzle to the ground and started to sob. He vowed never to be tricked again and never show anyone he cared.

Growing into a con artist, Nick’s life was turned upside down when he met an eager optimistic little bunny named Judy Hopps. Dismissing her at first, Nick grew to admire her courage and intelligence. The two teamed up (starting out by force when Nick wanted to evade a tax evasion charge) but later because he truly felt he could trust Judy. Unfortunately Judy’s slip of the tongue, equating the predator problem to something in their DNA, caused Nick to fold deeper into his shell. Though Judy returned, apologized and the two managed to capture the true cause of the predator issue, a vengeful sheep named Bellwether.

Nick went through the police academy (with a bit of acceleration due to his help with the case) and became the ZPD’s first fox officer. Now, Judy’s partner Nick felt he finally belonged somewhere.

The call to the war was from Chief Bogo who’d been alerted of animal disappearances in the war from all armies. Confident the fox and rabbit team could do it again he sent them along to investigate. Nick’s concerned but Judy’s excited attitude is what’s keeping him going.

Nick slid in front of the energetic rabbit. She was so eager when Bogo had sent them off. But Nick wasn’t so sure. “Now you know me,” he whistled, “Normally I’m ready to jump headfirst into danger. Buuuut this isn’t a crime boss or a robbery. This is a WAR. With death and guts and blood.”

His ears folded back, mouth twitching. “I don’t want my sly bunny getting snatched up by something,” he said with a nervous chuckle. Her assuring words meant very little. He was scared. Going to walk around feral animals? Investigate disappearances? These were probably animals that were war prisoners…how could they compete with that? Judy started to hop away and Nick shook his head.

“You really are just a DUMB bunny, carrots,” he chuckled, “And braver than I could ever be.”
