Any pregnant characters will be sending their babies home so they do not have to be RP'd out in the war. They are probably too young to be in the war anyway and sending them home is the most logical explanation. So when your character gives birth say that they sent their babies home. The mother may request to RP out newborns that they carry with them but don't give the babies personalities or anything.

Is this still the on-going rule? What if people want to adopt the cubs/pups and play them on their own once they're of age? Also, what about Lion King cubs? What will happen when Dotty and (eventually) Kula give birth, since their children are relevant to the plot?
Also, if the children are sent to a place that's able to be visited by those in the war, would the parents be able to visit them during roleplay?

I changed this rule, I believe I posted it in announcements. The mother can play as the cub/pup/whatever character as NPC's. Once their of age...I'm going to have to discuss that with staff. I don't really want people playing OC offspring here but we're running into a problem with that so I'm not sure. I'll get back to you about people playing the second gen characters.

I was actually wondering that too, but seeing as you've answered that already I'll ask you another question. I know OCs are allowed here...But they may have to at some point I mean we're going to run out of disney characters at one point or another, them either all being taken up or most of them dying of old age, or because of the war....So...what do we do after that? I mean that's really the only thing that worries me....And I'll just shut up now. x.x

Ahem. Shere-Khan, there are still plenty of named characters to go around. There's no chance we're going to run out any time soon. With that said, I personally don't think OCs should be allowed. But that's me.

Maybe we should just make sure there's a limit on who gets pregnant after this... Like if it's just random, have them head over to the Second-Gen board to play the characters. I think it'd be fair to let people adopt children... Or have them all meet unfortunate ends if they're not really needed. Collateral damage and all that.

As I did have an idea involving Helga and Jafars son dying almost right after he was born because of something Aladdin or some other hero did. But that is way, way, way in the future.

But then who's to decide the different between random and necessary births? Y'know.. random births being maybee Iunno, Alien x Lion/ Human x animal. But anyone could call out a dog x dog/feline x feline/human x human or any birth in response to a 'normal' couple as random.
In any case yes we have a lot of characters to hand out still but I suppose we've taken birth and gone over the top, labeling it as 'the bomb' in our characters display of affection for one another. I feel comfortable enough saying this even though LadyxCash were the first, because we both put a lot of time and thought into their relationship, and talked for maybe more than a month about a probably pregnancy.
However at this point I don't think we can realistically have all these children sent home/killed off because we don't want OC's. From this point on we shouldn't be taking pregnancy lightly anymore, since we already have several issues(coughChildren) to deal with.
For OOC, I suggest that you have to request pregnancy, and have a good solution for the children for the pregnancy to fall through. Whether it be an understandable death(We can't ALL have still borns...) or died before developed enough to have a personality. This is a war, and can happen many ways. We're roleplayers, we're creative.
For an IC explanation for the 'sudden' stop to our baby boom, I propose another 'group' of sorts be formed in the war. I suppose they'd have to be villains, because the idea is barbaric and incredibly inspired by Scruffy.
So brace yourself I guess. lmao
I propose we create a group that disagree's with the mass of children and becomes a 'clan' of children killers. Doing it out of a belief of kindness for the children in that they shouldn't have been born in a war in the first place. This would overall subside the ease of creating babies because potential mothers and fathers would have a huge threat to deal with that hunts their offspring directly.
Thoughts? Comments? Contributions? Complaints?

By 'random', I mean ones that don't really effect the war in any way and are done more for fun. But THAT IDEA. Kula is for it. >D

Even then, the statement is kind of contradicting. "done more for fun" I mean Cause.... we are rping for fun... lmao. But yeah. That's just my suggestion, since we can hardly make a no pregnancy or limit it at this point and not have an explanation for our canon without making our characters seem even more whimsical and silly.

I'm with that idea Cash ^^
I can see Nala now, strolling down the street just pouncing on babies XD Lmafo.
Anyways, maybe we could just make it so that the war leaders are becoming really strict about having children, Becuase when a female is pregnant, they can't fight, which is the key point of a war.
I dunno, either that or Cash's idea seem like the only logical ways of handeling this XP

Well that's just it^^ leaders would realistically punishthe troops to begin with for having babies. But now it'd have to be very strict with the war and a greater danger of people inthe war specifically hunting them

Badger raises a very good point. I could see both Jafar and Scar getting worked up over 'unnecessary' births (unless it was their own children, those hypocrites). Not only will the affected females have to be dismissed from their regular duties, but they'll be unable to pull their weight and thus become another mouth to feed. On top of that, it will be nine IC months before a human could return to battle-which can be a long time since the DWOW timeline is obviously different than our own. That and babies can be very demanding-which could very well take up all the mother's time, thus keeping her from ever participating on the battlefield again (unless they hired someone else to do it). As for animals, it depends on the species. I think there should be an application for Second-Generation characters (which would include a statement confirming that both parents are ok with this child). All other ones could be played in the Second-Generation board.
