Character Claiming

Guys, I hate to be a pain but this is mostly for new members but also for our old members as well.

We have had a bunch of new members join and that is GREAT. However claiming characters is getting a bit out of hand. Many of you have been joining, claiming a character and then claiming another almost imediately afterwards without playing as your current character.

So I have to have a rule. Because we want more people to join the website and have characters to claim, I'm putting a week long period on character claims. Basically, the character you claim must be played for at least a week before you claim another character.

I hate to be a bad guy and I'm not putting a limit on claiming characters just the timeframe that you claim them in. Please don't think I'm being mean.

This will not apply to those of you who have already claimed characters even if you haven't put the apps up.

okay. i understand that. which is good because i dropped Narissa. so. she is a rejected app by the way. sorry about that. it normally takes me a week or two to think of a diffrent character if i had one. lol this is a good rule though. ^.^' sorry if sometimes i don't follow it. with two-tone and yeah

Fair enough. That timeframe does seem to be rather acceptable I must say, around a week or so ^^

But question I do have, just a rather quick one, as I put up a prfile not that long ago, would the whole week thing still stand for Mittens sort of thing? If so, that's all good, just wondering is all

You've already been approved as Mittens, so it doesn't apply to her. It would, however, apply if you wanted to take another character now - you'd have to wait until a week after you got approved as Mittens.

Because I suggested it to her via PM the other day as well, just before the rule was made.

A week does seem to be the span of time that first leaps to one's mind when thinking about how long the waiting period should be, I suppose.

this is slightly off-topic here but Scar, you seem almost as like-minded as your character. xD You make a perfect fit for Scar.

now relating to the topic at hand, I can understand. I've sort of jumped on the Claim bandwagon lately xD but I'll try to roleplay more with the ones I have.
