For one, Bonnie is laughing and hasn't made any malicious gesture, besides the small hiss which was just to add character to the words. Posture was entirely non aggressive and anyone would be caught off guard by the words because it does sound mean, but she is smiling and laughing as well. Delaney also insulted the two with "romeo' and 'juliet' so she also could be using bitter humor. But I suppose Delaney can dish it but not take it, if that's her personality then so be it.

I'm sory but I still think that most people can tell when they're being insulted even if the person is acting friendly. Plus, Bonnie still called her "ignorant" and told her "she didn't matter" which is STILL insulting her. Her calling Bonnie and Clyde "Romeo and Juliet" wasn't meant to be an insult. Delaney likes giving people nicknames and she just thought that would be the most appropriate for them. Plus, Delaney is known for having a short fuse so she would immediately jump to the conclusion that Bonnie had called her something insulting even if punaise meant "sweetheart".

But that's just how I see it.

Quick question, do big 'mass' threads like It's My Turn usually follow a set posting order? I want to reply but at the same time I want to give people the chance to (if they want) have their characters react to the conversation that's going on. Not that there's much to say except 'Wow. Elephant.' though . SuchBigVeryTrunk. Still, if people have things to add to it I don't want to be steering ahead of everyone else, y'know?

Aaaaahh... Typically they don't because of the sheer amount of people. We just have to make sure not to do anything too crazy without giving folk a chance to keep up. Having two focal characters talking isn't an issue though, so we should be good for now.

Gathering Of The Generals

Uh, Kula. I'm sorry to point this out, however this thread is currently closed to the generals of Simba's army. I understand that it will be opened up at some-point to non-officers and you are more then welcomed to give input then. But for the moment you may want to hold off on your post.

I actually do have permission to be in the thread right now, soooo. Yeah.

Okay, fair enough. Although you may want to add that in your post. Because it does say in very big bold letters:

Considering that Clopin specifically requested that Kula join in the thread along with Aladdin and Bambi in We Need You it didn't seem terribly necessary. Thank you for your evident concern.

But for next time, regarding my threads, Lady I suggest you pm me, instead of assuming someone barged in. I appreciate the concern, but believe me, if someone was in that thread without my explicit permission, I would said something two seconds after that post. Thanks!

No worries Clopin. It's all good. I'm just a stubborn stickler for the rules.

I will request, for future reference, that character permissions to be in a thread be posted in thread headers to avoid confusion. Rank alone shouldn't allow somebody to enter a thread that's otherwise closed.

To clarify, Clopin, Nassy and I have been in discussion since the idea of this thread came up and it was decided from early on that Kula and Aladdin were also to be attending the meeting despite not having general status. Kula especially since we were not sure until yesterday that Bambi would be in attendance and needed at least one person there to represent the animals. Within the roleplay, Clopin extended invitations to them both. I did not 'barge in' and use my character's rank as a cover, it was intended for Kula to show up from the start.

Lady knows this. Clopin told him days ago that Kula was going to be showing up in the thread.

Okay. I'm not arguing against that. But I would appreciate seeing such permissions posted in the thread header, for clarity's sake.
