Just curious what everyone thought about this:
So as I was moving dead applications and such out of the approved folder and into the forgotten folder, I was wondering if I should clean out accounts too. Like delete accounts that are no longer used or people joined and didn't claim a character or anything.
The issue with deleting is as followed:
1)when deleting an account that has posts, it looks right silly when you read back old threads with deleted accounts.
2) If I delete accounts of people who never applied or claimed a character, they might come back and find their accounts missing.
Any opinions on this guys?
Thanks,
Stitch
PS: THE MONTH IS COMING TO A CLOSE SOON PLEASE IF YOU HAVE NOT FILLED OUT THE ACTIVITY CHECK DO SO.

I'd say if the account hasn't been used in, say, four months or more and the user in question hasn't offered some sort of explanation of absence, then personally, I'd see no problem with getting rid of any old accounts.

I have mixed feelings about it. I regularly read old threads and their are certain former members I don't want to see missing (like Lil' Lightning, Aladdin, Tex's Kiara, etc). But I noticed that there's a bunch of people who signed up and never posted an application, let alone post in the introduction thread. Maybe you could delete those as well as members who haven't been in a lot of threads.

Yeah, good point on Nasira's part; maybe just get rid of those who have been inactive for longer than four months and have, say, less that 200 posts or something?
