Kovu, please. 1) let me get in a reply first, please? I'm was simply waiting for 627, I HAVEN'T forgotten this thread; and 2) why are you so determined to spoil this for me? I don't want Kiara to find out that Simba's not to blame, not for a while yet; but at this point I feel I can't have her dispute the fact without her sounding stupid, stubborn, and possibly ooc. I feel like you're trying to force me down a route I don't want to go with her.

In my defense, my muse for 627 has been a bit spotty recently and, due to things that happened irl this week, I didn't have much motivation to post here. But anyway. I have to side with Angel on this one. He doesn't want Kiara to find out that Simba isn't the one responsible for Kovu's death yet. Why try to spoil that for him?

Also, one more thing, Kovu; I'd really appreciate it if you could drop his mind-reading trick, please? I didn't want to say anything at first, but while I'm on the subject, I'm not at all comfortable with him knowing Kiara's every thought. It just... feels weird that she abruptly has no privacy whatsoever. And I mean, no other DWoW ghost, to the best of my knowledge, has had the ability to read thoughts; why would Kovu have that ability when other past ghosts - say, Penny, for example, or Leroy - haven't?

Gosh I'm sorry, geez. You guys don't have to gang up on me, I wasn't FORCING anything on anyone. I just figured if that wasn't the route you wanted, then you should've told me straight up the first time that you didn't want Kiara to find that out. You didn't say anything period until I had had Kovu say it like three times already.

And it's been a good three or four days, I thought you guys were waiting for ME to reply. -__- No one was responding to anything I had Kovu do.

Okay, okay, I'm sorry if I caused offence. I'm not the best at addressing these matters in the least offensive way possible, and I apologise.

Anyway:

Okay, maybe I should have specified that it was Ray I was waiting for, but I knew she was having a bad week and I didn't want it to look as though I was putting pressure on her. Still, I suppose I'm to blame there for not making it clearer why I wasn't posting; my mistake, sorry.

Well, it's just... none of the other ghosts here have been able read minds. For the sake of continuity, at least, I don't think he should be able to unless you have a specific explanation for why he can and Penny and Leroy, for example, couldn't. I'll admit I didn't want to come off as mean by saying anything, which was why I held my tongue initially, but... I'd just been getting more and more uncomfortable with it. I don't like the idea of Kiara having no privacy whatsoever anymore... sorry ^^;

As for the Simba thing; well, okay. The thing is, when Kovu was just trying to tell Kiara that himself, I figured I could explain it away by her just subconsciously tuning out that part of his words and only hearing what she wanted to hear. But that only works when it's a ghost talking to her; it wouldn't be a viable excuse when a living being was the one telling her that. So when Vitani showed up and the almost first thing he says to her was 'tell Kiara this' it suddenly feels as though you're trying to force the knowledge to get through to her regardless of anything else.

Well yes, because Kovu would want Kiara to know that. He's all about live and let live and let the innocent guy go and innocent til proven guilty and all that stuff, so yes he is going to try to let Kiara know whatever the cost. But Vitani hasn't even replied yet and you didn't even wait to see how she'd respond, I mean who's to say Vitani would've given Kovu's words any more credibility than Kiara? She could've dismissed it as a trick of her imagination as well, it doesn't necessarily mean she's going to go right to Kiara and say "HEY KIARA GUESS WHAT KOVU SAID I HEARDED HIS VOICE FROM DUH AFTERLIEF"


As for the "mind reading" thing, I dunno I just kind of figured it was a thing once you were dead you kind of assumed this all-knowing stance and just kind of automatically knew what was going on because that's what I've always personally believed, it doesn't necessarily mean that he's reading her mind, just that he's clairvoyant in a sense now that he's dead and he just knows these things BECAUSE he is dead.

As far as the "waiting for Ray to post" well.. yes ^^; it would've been nice to know. I had no idea who we were waiting on so I just jumped in with Kovu again.
