Another Cap

Yes there's going to be YET ANOTHER cap on BG characters. No matter how much you guys want to convince me otherwise, BG characters are not the hub of this place. There are COUNTLESS named Disney characters you can claim for here. We even have whole movies that have pretty much been untouched.

So until more diverse main/named characters have been claimed I'll be putting a cap on BG and unnamed characters. Sorry, I know it annoys everyone but I don't care.

Also when looking at a named character try and pick one from a pretty much untouched or overlooked Disney film. For example Brother Bear has some great develop ready characters. Kenai for example had a pretty much ambiguous attitude which would make for great molding. There's also pretty much all of the Black Cauldron to play around with; Taren, Gurgi, ect.


So PLEASE, consider a character we haven't seen yet and NOT a background character. Here's a list of a few movies you can pull some great characters from:

Robin Hood
Brother Bear
Beauty & the Beast - Imagine the reaction of these characters to learn that Belle is dead.
Sleeping Beauty
Dumbo

And many, many more.

Hmmm! No one has claimed Robin? Really? I might have to look into that in about a week...

Shouldn't this cap be lifted by now? If people aren't picking up main characters at this point it's probably because they just don't want to. Background characters on this site seem to get more creative backstories and interactions than main characters, in any case and if you want a specific type of character (one that is no longer readily available without using bg characters) the cap is very debilitating.

The cap WAS lifted. There's an announcement at the bottom of Nasira's description detailing that staff asks you to consider a main character before choosing a BG one but the cap's been lifted for a while now.

Seriously? Well, damn.

Shouldn't it have been announced here?

It's not at the top of the board anymore I figured that was enough.

Though since it seems to not be I'll just make the announcement now then.
