This may be a little awkward - but how can the animal and human characters communicate with each other? That's kind of a key point to the plot.

You've actually come to the exact right place. I've done a fair deal of research into the subject of animals talking to humans and vice versa in Disney Canon, it being a pet interest of mine.

My complete results are too lengthy to discuss here, but I think I might be able to help with this particular problem. In regards to your question, it has been mostly established that magic, either on the part of the animal, the part of the human, or a general magical atmosphere allows most humans and most animals to interact. I feel the third clause is most relevant in this case. With all these genies, wizards, spellcasters, demi-gods, fair folk, voodoo users, dragons, magic mirrors and so forth running about, certainly a sufficient level of magic is in the air as to allow the crossover.

Alternatively, they simply could have been taught to do so. Tarzan would indicate, by virtue of the fact he was about to speak to gorillas and elephants and did so only through being educated in it, that humans have the capability of developing the skill to use the "Universal Animal language" that all animals are able to use to communicate with one another (With the exception being most, but not all, bugs and insects).

In your RP, feel free to use either of these theories to facilitate your Human-with-animal talk. Or another one of your own design, if it suits your fancy.

How do you make the avatars Angel? Just so I can make try to make some.

I made mine in Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 using screenshots I've captured from the DVDs on previous occasions. I set the document to the right size - in this case 100x100 pixels, paste the image I want into it and resize it as necessary, then flatten the image, adjust the contrast if the picture was too dark, and save it as a png file.

Aah. I only have Sumo Paint and MS Paint. Adobe doesn't work on my computer.

Yes, you do. As far as I can tell, you can still use the same email address, though.
