[July 21st, Violet's interaction thread.]
Violet arrived back in the Pridelands, the heat burning her pale skin. Squinting, she held her hand over her deep blue eyes, shading them, the other hand holding her bag. Right this moment she deeply regretted wearing dark clothing, she pulled off her jacket and shoved it in her bag.
Brushing back a loose strand of her jet-black hair and hauling her backpack on to her shoulder, she began to walk forward. Her large, deep blue eyes scanned the area until they rested on a familiar figure ahead of her, stood by the watering hole. Mirage. She could recognize the olive skin and platinum blonde hair anywhere. What was she doing here? Violet asked herself, she was pretty sure Mirage wasn’t the war type.
“Mirage...?" she asked, her voice slightly wary and unsure. Her parents had always talked about how much Mirage had helped them, but Violet wasn’t sure whether or not to trust her, she had been working for Syndrome after all, and he was the very person who had captured her family. She tugged gently and the neckline of her pale blue top, whishing silently she’d worn shorts instead of trousers.

Mirage was standing at the edge of the watering hole, arms crossed and absently staring into the clear, cool water. The water gently rippled constantly, moved by the hot breeze that blew through the African plains, and her reflection was distorted. She was pleasantly warm, but bordering on a little too warm, as the sun shone down onto the land below. It would take a while still for her to become accustomed to the temperature here.
Flicking the flat shoes she wore off to the side, she carefully stepped into the shallows of the watering hole, letting the water submerge both feet. She felt a little cooler, and sighed in relief. Just then, she heard a quiet, wary voice call her name from behind her. She turned her head, one white eyebrow raised questioningly. A teen girl with long black hair and big blue eyes stood a little behind her. Judging by her body language, she seemed nervous. Mirage was unsure how the teen knew her name, she didn't recognise her...and yet there was something about her that she couldn't quite put her finger on...like they had met once before, somehow.

Violet noticed the confusion in Mirage’s face; Mirage obviously didn’t know who she was. “I’m Violet Parr.” She told Mirage, tilting her head downwards very very slightly with arched eyebrows, making her eyes seem wider. When there was still no recognition in Mirage’s face, Violet began to explain it a little further. "I was part of the family you helped escape, when we were captured by Syndrome? You gave us the computer password for the rocket hanger?" She said gently, trying to find any kind of recognition in her face.

Violet Parr? The name meant nothing to her. Her expression remained blank and neutral as Violet continued to explain who she was.
I was part of the family you helped escape, when we were captured by Syndrome? You gave us the computer password for the rocket hanger?
Mirage took a sharp intake of breath and her eyes snapped wide as she realised, now, who she was talking to. This was Mr. Incredible's daughter! In her surprise, she staggered a little and almost tripped into the watering hole. Just managing to steady herself, she stepped onto the dusty bank again and stared at Violet, unsure what to say. Even though she had helped the Incredibles escape, her assistance of Syndrome was despicable, and she knew it. What did Violet think of her?

Violet had jumped back slightly when Mirage had all most toppled over, but the woman got her balance back quickly. She wasn't really sure how to react to Mirage. Or what to say. She seemed to notice that Mirage looked, and probably felt, slightly awkward, and had no idea what to say to her at all. Violet shifted her weight from her right foot to her left one, then after a few moments, back to her right.
"Great! I can't fly a rocket..." Her mother explained, looking to her dad and sagging slightly. "You don't have to." Violet exclaimed, "Use the co-ordinates from the last launch." She told her parents, her shoulders lifting and dropping again. "Ah, wait... I bet Syndrome's changed the password by now." Her father had said, clenching his fist. "How do I get into the computer?" He'd asked, seemingly to himself. Yet a voice replied to him through the intercom. 'Say Please.' She remembered those words, almost as clear as day. The few words she had ever heard Mirage say, that had pretty much helped her and her family, save the world.
She had figured she had aught to say something, or the silence would most likely continue for quite a while. "I want to thank you..." She said, "You know, for what you did." Her voice came out a little more nervous than usual.

Thank you? Out of all the things Violet could have said, 'thank you' was not what Mirage was expecting. A cold toned 'why did you kill all those heroes', perhaps. But no. Thank you. Mirage awkwardly rubbed her right arm with her left hand.
"You're welcome...and I should thank you for saving the city," she said. Even though she had been well out of the danger zone when the Omnidroid had attacked, she was still grateful that Syndrome's plot had been stopped. She was glad that the teen girl didn't feel any resentment towards her, it put her at ease a little. But she was sure that Mrs. Incredible was still not too keen on her. "Your mother...erm...I assume that she still...holds a dislike for me?" she asked.
[Should we open up to all Heroes now?]

Thin legs placed their body towards the women. She smiled, young girl, younger than the raven haired femme and much younger than the white haired woman, walked towards the girls and placed her tall alien body right near the them. Tilting her chin upward, the girl waved a claw in the air. She wasn't good with other females, including her sisters, but she was sure that she could try and get along with them.
"Hi," she said, "My name's Abigail. Uh...are you new here?"

Mirage's attention was diverted by the young cat like alien joining them. She returned her smile, and briefly took in the girl's appearance. She was tall, with auburn hair, and her catlike features included her sticking out ears, small triangular nose, and the claws that accompanied both hands.
"Hello, I'm Mirage. I am a newcomer here, but I'm not sure about Violet," she replied, gesturing one hand towards the teen girl. She slipped her feet back into her flat shoes, also putting in with them a good amount of dust from the baked ground that had stuck to her feet when she had staggered out of the watering hole, and came nearer to the two girls so she wouldn't seem rude by lingering at a distance.

Violet lifted her shoulders lightly, then let them drop again, in a shrug "I guess," She began, remembering the way her Mother had always seemed to have had an annoyed expression on her face when they began to talk about Mirage "but she would always talk about how you helped us save the world and stuff..." Her father had almost always been the one to bring up Mirage helping them out, which annoyed her mother even more, through Helen, had never denied the fact of the help.
Violet’s deep blue eyes moved to the slim, slightly tall, catlike female who had announced herself as Abigail and lifted a claw to greet both her and Mirage, and smiled very slightly, she lifted a hand and brushed back a loose strand of her raven-black hair. "I'm Violet." She told Abigail. Violet adjusted the strap of her backpack by moving it further down; her shoulder was beginning to ache. "Not really, I've been around for about a month." Violet added, still smiling.

Scratching her arm slightly, from nerves not because it itched, she gave a weak smile to the women. "Oh," she replied softly, "I'm kinda new here too. Kinda." She peered at the older raven haired femme. Ear flicked back as she clicked her tongue against her sharp teeth. What was she to say now? Nerves overtook her slender figure and she rubbed her arm more furiously. She lowered her head softly.
"Do you guys...know each other?" She asked sheepishly.

If there was one thing that Hercules was grateful for at that moment in time, it was the fact that the heroes had access to the watering hole. He had been training for the past hour, making certain that his sword skills were still as sharp as ever, before deciding to take a break so that he might be able to catch up with other heroes. As he approached the watering hole, Herc was able to see the forms of three girls. Well, two younger girls and a woman. Herc wasn't terribly bothered by the sight of them, though. He had gotten used to being around women as a result of the fame he had accumulated while working to become a true hero. Talking to them wouldn't be too difficult. "Afternoon, ladies. It's a beautiful day, isn't it?" Hercules asked. He had figured that he ought to keep the conversation light. After all, no one wanted to talk to a downer. Commenting on the day may have been rather mundane, but he didn't think anyone would care too much. It was a decent enough way to start up a conversation. (ooc: Blargh... it's been too long since I did any decent writing for this guy. I hope this wasn't a fail post. )

Wilbur had been training for awhile, thanks to his talk with Ling about Shanti he felt more confident than usual, he wasn't sure why but maybe he felt like he had to impress her, he wasn't sure. Seeing the newcomer though, caught his interest. Deciding to join Hercules and the others, he smiled. "Hey guys."

Hercules turned his attention briefly from the girls present and over to Wilbur. He wasn't all that familiar with the black-haired boy, but that didn't matter. It was good to see a new face around the Pridelands. Well, another new face really. Hercules wasn't familiar with anyone present at the moment. "Hey, there. Wow... I didn't expect to see so many unfamiliar faces here. I guess that's what I get for not taking the time to get to know everybody while I had the chance." Hercules said. There was a hint of nervous laughter in his tone, but only a hint. He wasn't that worried about getting to know everybody that was present right then.
"I'm Hercules. It's good to meet you all." Hercules said. No harm in getting the introduction ball rolling, right? They would have to get to know one another sooner or later.

"Whoa."
Females and Wilbur forgotten for the moment, Abigail fixed her grey-blue orbs on Hercules. Damn. Damn Damn on a stick damn. He was gorgeous! She grinned furiously, her cheeks flushing with nerves and blush. She walked over to the taller male and smiled up at him.
"Hi Hercules," she said shyly, "My name is Abigail...you are...really...awesome..."

Hercules looked down as Abigail addressed him and smiled back at her. She was an adorable little girl, that was for certain. A flatterer, too. Modest demi-god didn't know if he could take such flattery after so long. "Awesome? Me? I don't know about being awesome. I mean, I haven't even really done anything here in a while..." Hercules let himself trail off after a moment. She had at least complimented him, so wouldn't it be proper to thank her for that? No doubt it would be. "I... I mean, thanks. I haven't been complimented like that in a while." he admitted. Herc was only beginning to realize that it had really been a lot longer than he would have liked since he had interacted with other heroes.
"So... if you don't mind my asking, Abigail, where are you from?" Hercules asked. A fair question, really. Hercules had never seen a girl like her before. Her appearance was almost worthy of calling out of this world. Not that that was a bad thing, of course, but it was still a bit strange.
